Looks great!

We purchased this for our new home and love the way it looks in the wall! Everyone who has come over before we moved in (so no TV on the wall yet) has been impressed and wants one. Definitely a good investment to update the overwhelming look of cords everywhere.

Liked the overall concept I wish it was only primed for a top coat so you can match it to color of the wall. other than that it does the job.

plastic combination wall jack

Make sure you cut the hole level. Do not cut it oversized as this is the hole you will insert it in. cut out and trace the template of the black square provided printed on the inside of the box. The hardest part of the whole job is to keep the inside wall screw ears from catching on the insulation inside the wall. I got the bottom ones to twist and catch, then I used a ice pick and thin screw driver to reach in behind and twist the top ones into position after pushing anything inside the wall aw...

Bought my wife a new flat screen TV and wanted to mount it to the wall. Was going to go with just two small holes at the top and bottom of the wall to run the power and HDMI, but figured I would make it look professional. This box came with the outlet already, so cost wise was about the same as buying everything separate. The only thing I would've done different was replace the white bristles with two HDMI jacks to plug in the front and back. I think that would've added one more professional tou...

Great thought but poor outlet

I would give this product 5 stars but I am shocked to find out the outlet it came with is not surge protected! I mean really. For what it is advertised for and not put a surge protected outlet with it is just dumb. I will use the box as I like everything about it, but I will be buying a surge protected outlet to put in it.

works as advertised

Cut the hole in wall behind TV that is mounted on wall, pulled a couple cables and power for outlet and was up and running. looks and worked great and once I placed the TV onto it's bracket all the wires disappeared. Just what we wanted.

Great upgrade item

The connection kit itself was really easy to install. Running the cables to the wall cavity where I wanted to install the connection kit was much more complicated. Be sure to orient the hole template correctly before cutting (it would be nice if the template had a diagram of the outlet and panel as a reminder). Also, make sure the hole is far enough away from any wall studs so you clearance for the electrical box.

Great for wall mount TV

easy to install and remove which provides plenty of space to fish wires to the proper location. Would like to have a larger vertical face/flange.

Great component of Wall Mounted TV system!

WE were looking for exactly such a component, that would allow a plug behind an intended thin mount wall television mount to allow the television to be placed as possible to the wall while still hiding the outlet and not having a wall plug to interfere. GREAT design and easily installed!

Unsightly Cords Be Gone!

My husband had our 60" flat screen hanging with cords coming out of both sides. It was awful. The hardest part of the install was borrowing a right angle drill from a neighbor to drill thru one stud. (only tool we don't own) It took about two hours total, (he had to go under the house to re-pull cable) and only one hole in the wall for me to patch. The effect was worth it. Love having cords hidden.

Hide the wires from sight...

We have several flat screen TV's and needed to avoid having the mess of wires and connection being viewed or in the way. This device works properly and efficiently for doing just that...eliminating the mess!! Looks professional and conveniently hidden from view. Great product....at a relatively fair price!

Easy to install

Simple and effective. Limited need to measure and remeasure. Plug was easy to install and cords easily bundled and managed.

Great Design for easy install...

Found it so easy to install i was shocked. Strong plastic that feels very durable and easy to clean. Found the design to mount directly to my drywall very easy and strong. did not even notice it had a serge protector built into the outlet until after i opened the box. i thought i was a great idea and loved having it protect my TV. decided to place a review after having it for about 6 months now and looking to buy another one for my bed room TV.

outlet without surge protection

Have to buy an additional surge protection outlet to protect T.V. Unit is heavy duty.

Easy to install

This is my second install of this unit. After cutting hole in wall it allows enough room to feed wires to lower hole. I added a cord to the outlet so I could just run cord to outlet.
