Worked very well

Am in a mobile home and the outlet in the bedroom was pulling out from the wall. Only 1/2" sheetrock so not much holding power. This recessed box worked out great. Just had to enlarge the hole and with 4 binders this thing is in like a rock. Was looking like a lot more work until I found this.

Just what I needed!

Installing TV over fireplace! Electrical box put everything I needed right there in the wall!

Easy installation

The "ears" on the "old work" boxes worked just fine. Apparently the manufacturer has improved the design so they stay in the screw tubes properly. This was a problem noted in older reviews. One suggestion about installation is to attach the single gang box to the main box before inserting in the wall. Of course make sure your Romex is pulled through, and your outlet is wired and screwed to the outer housing. This slipped into the wall just fine.

Serve their purpose well, great for retrofit. I love that this item comes with the outlet and outlet cover and you don't have to purchase it seperate.

THE ONLY THING I DON'T LIKE ABOUT IT IS IT DOSN'T COME W/ GFCI OUTLET. I RATHER IT DIDN'T COME W/ AN OUTLET. DON'T FORGET ITS FOR ELETRONECTIC.

Works and looks great

Looks great for that floating tv look. Easy to install

Recessed 2-gang interior electrical box

This outlet was so easy to install with out any damage/repairs to the wall. The size of the rough opening make it so easy to fish wire up inside of the wall from the outlet below. I was impressed.
