Weak coffee

This machine is nice-looking with nice features, but for those who like weak, bland coffee. Bought this at Costco last week - what a deal at $29! You get what you pay for. I have experimented with different grinds, amount of water, and the coffee beans that I love. AND I use the brew strength button. If I kept this model, I would have to use twice as much coffee (equates to 2 large scoops per cup) than with my old machine. I like a full, rich cup of coffee, not coffee-flavored water.

Piece of Junk

We bought in August of the year, the coffee pot is less than 2 months old. Has been cleaned after a month. Went to use this morning and nope no coffee. Will not move water from tank, and outside of brewer is so hot you will burn yourself. Has been unplugged and I won't be buying another Mr. Coffee product.

Bought in late April quit working September

This coffee maker worked alright, it was tight to get water in but brewed reasonably well. Was very disappointing last week when suddenly it started beeping the "coffee done", i think, beeps and no coffee had been brewed at all. A cheaper model Mr. Coffee lasted much longer making me feel I wasted my money.

Who wants to wait an hour for coffee to brew?

I bought this coffee maker yesterday and was super excited about it. My Mom had one just like it and she said it was the best coffee maker she has ever had. Can't say the same is true for me. It took over an hour to brew 12 cups of coffee and didn't even brew 12... it brewed 8! Turned it on again this morning to give it another try. Put in 6 cups of water and 20 minutes later only 2 cups and the screen was blacking out round the corners from I guess the steam? From reading the reviews it seams l...

horrible coffee maker

I got this as a gift for my new place and I've only been here a month and it has stopped working. Woke this morning to find out it wasn't working. No warning, no cleaning light, nothing! Let's just say the husband and I were so upset.

Terrible Product!

We purchased this for our small office about a 6 weeks ago. Worked fine for a few weeks. Now the unit only brews about a 1/2 cup of coffee then stops and starts beeping like it's all brewed, but it continues to gurgle and be hot. The unit gets so hot that one of our employees actually burned herself on the steam when she opened the top to check on it! Also, the decanter leaks terribly, no matter how slowly you pour it. Very disappointed in product. :(

Defective

Purchased this coffee maker and returned it as the hole for the coffee to filter down into the carafe was the size of a pin. There was no way for the water to get there so the carafe filled up with steam and remained empty as the water continued to fill up in the basket.

Purchased 11/27/11.......Don't waste your money

Within the first year, we had a coffee disaster when the little plastic piece that keeps the coffee going into the carafe broke and we had a stream of coffee in the kitchen when the filter basket overflowed while on timed brew. Great features, some flaws, best customer service

Mr. Coffee FedExed this coffee maker to me as a replacement for a similar model that suddenly quit working after 6 months. It was, hands down, the easiest and best customer service on a warranty I've ever had. I just called the number in the product pamphlet, and whammo, new coffee maker arrived at my door. Pretty, but didn't last

I was happy with this product at first. It looked good and made good coffee. But within a year it fried. Smoke and stink kind of fried. Customer Service sent a new one. Sixteen months later (past warranty, of course), it quit working. No smoke this time, it died quietly. I'd just bought a new carafe ($15+sh) because I broke the original, so that's a waste. I'm going back to the plain-old $20 cheapies.

rust on 12 cup programable /stainless-stainless

had this maker for a while. program for the morning no problems, perfect, as normal washing dishes ,I tend to wipe down everything including maker, found rust spots forming.

Lasted a year

I bought this a year ago at Walmart. I truthfully don't even use it every day because I use a cure egg several mornings a week. As many stated, I used it one morning this week and it did nothing. I took it back to Walmart and they only have a 90 day window for replacement. Too busy to mess with returning for repair. Didn't buy the cheapest maker and expected it to last several years. Very disappointed.

Mr. Coffee died today.

How can a coffee maker not even 6 months old go dead? I had my coffee this morning it's worked fine up to the point where I just came downstairs to the kitchen and noticed that the clock wasn't on. I unplugged it for awhile and plugged it back in, nothing, it's completely dead. I'm seriously annoyed and disappointed by this product.

Inconsistent design

unfortunately most of the times I prepare coffee in this brewer I end up cleaning all the spilled coffee. The glass garage is poorly designed and though to empty and clean.

Great stylish design but . . . .

I bought this coffee pot just about month & half ago. Love its design where you can see the water amount in front. that is a big feature to us!!. Coffee has been brewing great until 2 days ago. Display fogged up after cleaning and brewing

3 months old and very disappointed. Slow, display gogged over and this morning the delay did not function.:-(

quit woriking

Well, the light is on but nobody home! Woke up to coffee pot not working. Have checked and done everything. It was cleaned not that long ago, just nothing. Very disappointing!

Coffee pot leaks

I got this as a present at Christmas and have had continual problems with the pot leaking around the black flange at the top of the pot. I have tried pouring it slow and all at once but nothing helps. I always end up with a puddle of coffee or water on the counter and water down the side of the coffee maker. The option to hold the flow of coffee if you want a cup before it finishes brewing never seems to work. The coffee just keeps coming and gets all over the heating element. I had better luck ...

Horrible and smells bad!

First I liked it until I cleaned it and notice black mildew floating in the water! Smell does not go away and not easy to clean!
