poor quality

Worked well for a while

Initially this product worked well, but over time it developed issues. Every time I use this coffee maker now, it loses about have of the water I put in, apparently as steam. Steam billows out the top, and by the time the coffee is finished brewing, the window in my breakfast / coffee nook is completely steamed over, as are the glasses above the coffee maker (even my cat has noticed this...he enjoys watching the birds out this window, and he gives me a look when he can't see out it in the mornin...

Already had one at the house, and when my wife's work coffee pot died, I was grateful that this model had not yet been retired, as it brews delicious coffee. The machine is modern, easy to use, and more importantly easy to clean.

I bought this coffee a week ago. It comes with a glass pot but yet I cannot get it to switch from thermal to glass. There is nothing in the instructions on how to do it except that the coffee maker is supposed to "read" and know the difference between a glass pot and a thermal pot. If that's the case, my coffee maker is blind. I guess because the thermal doesn't require to be heated that makes the coffee maker shut down early.

this is a replacement of the same pot i had previously purchased. Mr Coffee sent me a replacement. after a few months of use, the coffee pot once again stopped working. same exact problem. I am very dissapointed. this is a very poor product

Terrible smell and taste won't go away

Depsite cleaning this coffe maker multiple times, and then just putting it away hoping it would off gas, I CANNOT get rid of the awful chemical/plastic smell and accompanying taste. Very disappointing.

I've had the machine for 3 months now and can tell you its good and bad points. All the functions work as advertised, but unless I use the automatic timer to brew the coffee in the morning at a set time, I have to put the cup in the microwave. Not when I use the timer as the hot plate brings the coffee up to drinking temperature when it is left on the hot plate for about 20 minutes. Cover for resorvoir is difficult

The maker mkes great coffee but the difficult task is trying to lift the cover up for the resorvoir , it is poorly designed making it almost impossible to lift up, most of the time I have to use a butter knife to lift it up. For a senior citizen it is almost an impossible task.

We are a family of coffee drinkers and are very pleased with this coffee maker - I bought mine at Costco and liked it so much that I bought a second one for my mom through the Mr. Coffee website. I like to be able to select the brew strength - it takes less coffee to brew a pot - and the delay start and auto-shut off are nice features.

Bought one of these MANY years ago and had to give it up during a move. I missed it so bad. Finally found one online after looking everywhere in the stores. The pour is great, easy to use and makes best coffee without any stuff in the bottom. And the temperature adjustment is great so I don't burn my mouth like many of the other pots I've tried.

Same problem here - stopped brewing, does not heat

We've had this model coffee maker for only a couple of years and it has stopped brewing. Tried the light smacking and shaking options to possibly loosen up clogged parts or float but no success. It wouldn't be worth sending it for repair, overall for me it wasn't worth the money spent

I also have a $2,000 dollar Saeco fully automatic cappuccino machine and , in the past, wasted money on expensive drips makers as well. There is no need to do so.
