Not worth the money

Would Not Recommend

My young son bought this coffee maker for me and was so proud of his purchase. It worked great for 3 months. I have cleaned it with vinegar once a month. Tried to make coffee this morning like usual, the lights light up and absolutely nothing happens. Mr. Coffee used to be a quality product.

BREW STRENGTH STOPPED WORKINGS

I bought this model 4 months ago. I bought it so I could brew strong Crio Brew. I use the gold basket. About 2 weeks ago I noticed that after starting it on a strong brew, the machine would sound like it does when it has stopped brewing after about 2 cups (I brew 10 cups) It would continue brewing, but not strong. I program it to be ready when I wake up in the morning, and this morning it was extremely weak. Not happy at all.

Pours coffee everywhere

I have had this model at my home and at the office. We actually just threw away the 3rd one that we have been through at the office for the same reason - sometimes when brewing, the filter fills up with water and coffee grounds and pours out everywhere. So the coffee that ends up in the pot is full of grains, and the rest is all over the counter.

I bought this coffee maker less than a year ago and it does not keep the coffee hot anymore. The hot plate is cool to the touch. I have always bought a Mr. Coffee and this is the first time it lasted less than a year. Since I do not have the original receipt I cannot return the coffee maker to the store.

Constant mess

I've had this coffee maker for 3 months. It brews just fine but the design is poor. Every time you remove the pot from the hot plate it drips water/condensation. It doesn't matter how carefully or slowly you remove the pot and put it back. It spits and sputters and will eventually cause the hot plate to rust.

My coffee maker of 5+ years from a different brand suddenly stopped brewing one morning so I ran over to the local retailer to buy a new one – no research or reviews, I just needed a new machine asap. This model appeared to give me the best features at a reasonable price and provided a thermal carafe option (sold separately) so I bought it. My husband bought me this Mr. Coffee model in February. At first it was working great, I loved this coffee maker and now it refuses to brew. I would love to know why it stopped or to have it replaced. I've been trying to figure it out and even tried to take it apart to figure it out but everything is correct it just won't brew. Burnt taste

Would Not Recommend

This coffee maker brews too hot and the coffee tastes burnt. Even when brewing a blonde roast very weak, it tastes the same as if I used a whole bag of coffee regular coffee, or worse like mud. I never had this problem with any other coffee makers.

Got mine in red for that pop of color

Would Recommend

My old black and decker was on it's last leg with the burner gritty and unable to clean so I got this one at a local discount store in a lovely red color. It's really nice. Coffee tastes great, no leaking, burner nice and smooth. Couldn't be happier. Also can purchase a thermal pot for use with this coffee maker if wanted.
