Love it even though It isn't perfect.

Bought October 2014, got used to setting basket in right and resolved the moisture problem by leaving the lid up awhile when the pot cut off. I love the filters and the coffee tastes better with it. The timer works great. Coffee perked and ready for hubby every morning. I know I should have cleaned it with vinegar or such by now. I have good intentions and bad habit of not following through. Like others, I've had this coffee maker for about 6 months and it quit working already. I've had Mr. Coffee units in the past that worked well but won't be buying this model again. If this is the quality of this brand now it may be time to make a switch. Pretty disappointing.

What Happened

I bought this for my wife for Christmas thinking it would hold up as well as our Mr. Coffee keurig has.... Boy was I wrong. It has stopped working, well let me rephrase that the coffee maker part quit working it does still tell time. 5 month's old and just quit. There weren't any warning signs just one morning lights turned on but didn't heat up and no coffee came out. I have always preferred the Mr. Coffee brand and I still do just a little disappointed on this one.

Was great until it wasn't

I bought this coffeemaker back in December after my refrigerator died. I had read reviews and thought that this would be a great bargain and it was... Until today when I went to make coffee and it would not work. No slow trickle that would indicate it needs a cleaning. No sputtering. Nothing. It will not even get hot. The lights come on but it will not brew. Really not looking forward to a coffeemaker hunt but I guess that is what I am going to do now. Wish me better luck with my next one.

I bought this coffee maker 1 year ago (we always have mr.coffee makers) for the last 4 months it takes for ever to brew the coffee/ this morning I turned to coffee maker on at 6:30 am for 12 cups at 8:00am still only shows 6 cups and very noisy. Will never buy this one again.

This is the second coffee maker of this model I have purchased. The first one brewed the coffee and the Pot sensor always thought it was the thermos pot and would always turn off the warmer right when finished brewing even though I had the glass pot. Received this coffeemaker as a Christmas gift. Went to set it up to brew for yesterday morning and it would not turn on, no clock (have not had it for 6 months). Checked the outlet and it was working. Very disappointed!!! Our previous Mr. Coffee had lasted for years, till the burner finally started dying.

TOTALLY UNHAPPY

My husband bought me this coffee maker last year for mothers day and it only worked for a couple of months so I went out and bought a cheaper one but it was a Mr Coffee too and that just stopped working as well. The clock works and the lights come on but the hot plate doesn't get hot and it will not brew any coffee, second morning in a row that we have woke up to NO COFFEE .... NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!!!!!

We bought this coffee maker LESS than 4 months ago and, guess what, it will not brew coffee. This is disappointing, since we have always purchased Mr. Coffee. Did not know I needed to do research. I am glad I still had my mom's 1950's olive green electric percolating coffee pot. That still works!

Have had this coffee maker for less than a year. Have had intermittent problems with it not working but yesterday it died for sure. No Sunday morning coffee! The water doesn't move from the reservoir. Totally disappointing.
