pink mold, suck!

Have had many Mr. Coffee makers over the years, Have had this one several months, brews coffee ok so far, but several weeks ago I noticed a funny smell. Looked inside didn't see anything, the next week noticed the window that shows you the water line for cups to brew was cloudy. I bought this about a month ago and it lasted about that long! Worked great for the first two weeks. Then the timer stopped working amd would just shut off when ever it felt like it. Do not bother very disappointing.

less than a year old, leaks all over the counter

I've been using Mr. Coffee products for over 30 years. Average life has been 10 plus years. I got 8 months out of this one. Leaks all over the counter out of the bottom of the machine. Basket filter overflows, causing grounds to get into the carafe. I've read the other reviews on this machine, and my issues are typical. Never again.

I bought this coffee maker 11/19/15 and less than 2 months it stopped working. Lights came on but it never brewed my coffee. We had a Black & Decker coffee maker that was just a simple push button and brew (think it also had a timer mode) and that lasted almost 2 years. If I could rate this product a zero I would. I bought it just before Christmas as a present to myself. Almost a month later it doesn't work. Will go back to the cheap 15 black and decker that at least lasted a year.

illuminated clock missing

I just bought a replacement for my similar Mr. Coffee model. I'm highly disappointed that the illuminated clock is dark, what the heck? I'm taking it back and since I've read many comments about how this model quits working after a short period of time I'll think twice about buying Mr. Coffee.

My 2nd maker

I bought this same unit, had it for a year and it died. I had the extended warranty from Wmart and got the same model 4 months ago. It's been working fine until this very minute. I'm washing the glass carafe in the sink and using the thermal I have in it's place and the unit keeps turning off, so I have to keep turning it on just to make a pot of coffee. I don't get it. Time to look for a different brand as I don't want this same unit anymore.

Where's my coffee?

I bought this less than 6 months ago; when it was working it brewed good coffee and I liked the auto shutoff feature. Then one morning it simply stopped brewing. The lights come on but it would not brew or the plate get hot. I tried to unplug and get it to reset but still nothing. Good thing I have my electric pot. This coffeemaker stopped working after using THREE times. It, literally, just stopped working (powered off) and would not start again. I didn't expect a lot out of a $30 coffeemaker but I did expect it to work for more than 3 days.

I purchased this coffee maker about maybe 4 months ago. We may make a pot of coffee twice a week. I tried to make one yesterday and it just wouldn't blew. Broke after 3 months!

Would Not Recommend

Always had mr.coffee and upgraded to the red version of this model. Was happy till one day it came on but the plate didn't warm and wasn't brewing. When you work 50 plus hour weeks and wake up every morning at 6 to tend to children not a great thing to happen. No troubleshooting could fix this very disappointed. I will be using a different brand no matter what the cost.

Have had this product less than year, this product stops brewing before it empties the basket. I'm always left with an overflowing basket and grounds in my pot. The only thing this product is good for is target practice!

Hot plate on maker dies after 3 months

This is the third Mr. Coffee maker that we have brought within the last year and all three have had the same problem. It is great for the first 2-3 months and then all of the sudden it stop brewing coffee because the hot plate does not get hot and the water will not come down. I will never buy another one again.
