Waste of Money

Used my feeder a few times and it began to spray water all over the place including on me. So disappointed because I was very happy with it until then.

Not working

I bought this a few weeks ago and it doesn’t work like it is supposed to. The jar filled with water and has dissolved all of the miracle grow. Now it is full of blue water that is not getting lighter in color after about 45 minutes of watering.

Bought two. Both are worthless

I bought the organic product one for vegetables. Leaks all over. Sprays all over me. It’s not even spraying out the fertilizer. Thinking I got a lemon I bought one with regular fertilizer. Same big mess. How can you even sell these. Used one many years ago and it worked. Why have you allowed this to happen. Don’t buy!!!

Great fertilizer but dispenser is cheap

This is the 2nd dispenser i just bought with MG in container, and this is yhe 2nd one that does not dispense the food but rather soak me. I tried everything to tighten the area where hose attaches but still siaks me and not my plants. 2 dispensers doing the same thing=faulty product

Nozzle leaks like crazy

I bought this yesterday, I tried using it today on my flower bed. There is more water leaking at the bottom of the nozzle than comes out. A total waste of money.

Leaky

2nd feeder I've purchased this season, both with the same issue. My hose works with any other type of attachment with no issues. Both are leaking between yellow hose connection and the handle. Drench myself after both attempts. There is a hole visible between yellow and black, and there is no tightening to make it be covered.

Applicator leaks around trigger

I bought this applicator last year to replace a previous one that leaked around the trigger. Now I am experiencing the same problem with the replacement applicator.

Don’t buy this!

I have bought 3 of the Miracle Grow feeders recently thinking the first two were defective. The third is exactly the same. The feeders leak, despite my hose being in perfect working order and washers in place. Miracle grow food is messy and stains! The reservoir never empties and always has unused powder no matter how long you use it. There are no clear directions and the lock and unlock seem to work exactly the same. Does lock mean no feeding is occurring, or does lock mean the feeding is...

Can’t tell if it’s emptying

What is the point of filling up the reservoir as indicated for square footage if it never empties? I don’t see any food spraying out when I use it. I end up having to empty the reservoir into a watering can to put in my plants. What is the point of that? I thought I bought this kit with a missing parts and I didn’t. Over time the reservoir and plant food just gets deluded. When do you know it’s time to add more plant food? So it doesn’t matter that once you turn on the hose you have 12 minutes w...

LEAK FIX - MUST READ

HEADS UP, Anyone who is having trouble with their container leaking between the container and the hose adapter just add an another rubber washer to the one that is already there! Works perfectly

Very poor design

I have used miracle fro for many years. The new design of hose end sprayer top is very very difficult to screw to the bottom base. It is so frustrating as the product spills out. I am a mechanical engineer and strongly recommend a redesign. I am looking for alternatives to use.

Not good

I have used these feeders for years but bought a new one. It leaks from the sprayer not the hose. Very disappointed.

Problems

I've had this feeder for a couple of years. It has always leaked. Sometimes spray was too green...not enough MG powder was diluted. Other times I couldn't tell if MG powder was dissolving in the bottle as water coming out was clear. Now the off-on slider doesn't work at all. It sticks even after I cleaned it. I even used a little W2-40 silicone on slider. Even in closed position water was spraying out of control. I'm sorry I bought this feeder.

Junk

I bought this feeder a couple of years ago, and it's always been balky, but now it's useless-leaky and low flow through it, even though the hose has plenty of pressure and I can blow air through the feeder.

Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder was helpful and handy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder for my garden. It was very easy to attach to my hose and the handle for turning product on and off was very convenient and light weight. I have used this product twice so far this season and will continue to use it through the fall.

Garden feeder leaks!!!!

I have been a consumer of Miracle Gro products for many years but in the 2 years I have had a leaky garden feeder. Very disappointed. I bought one recently and again it leaks. I want to water my plants, but with the leaky feeder, I end up watering the mulch. I don't know why Miracle Gro has not fixed this issue.

I don't know what the lock button is supposed to do. Doesn't work like the old feeders. Can you just bring back the old feeders? Why mess with perfection. This is a bad design. Only time I saw any tinting was when I tilted it upside down, then sprayed. I sprayed for an hour and it's still full of mix. I tried locked and unlocked. I removed the plastic first. I don't think it did anything. The feeders from years ago worked perfect. Where are the directions?

Works great after following directions

Hooked feeder to hose and leaked around top of jar with Miracle Gro and around hose connection. Read directions and started over by REMOVING THE PLASTIC SEAL ON JAR! Worked great. Wished the directions had been larger and more complete, such as how much to water plants, can feeder be stored with unused product and used at a later date, and how do I know when to refill feeder.

Great feeder!

I bought this to feed everything in my backyard. Yes, it leaked the first time I tried it but I reconnected it and had no problems whatsoever. I can’t wait to see my flowers and shrubs bloom brightly!
