do not buy

worst product i have ever bought, it never started feeding, i watered for 30 to 45 min , and none of the fertilizer ever came out, so i thought i did something wrong, so i unscrewed the jar ,and was looking at it then kicked over the jar ,and spilled all the fert, on the ground, i guess that spot will do good

Hose end feeder

Bought this a week ago and 1st time using it sprayed water through the seam and the hose connector. I can't tell if any fertilizer actually is being applied to the plants. Got drenched trying to use it.

Bad Product

I also bought this sprayer and as most are saying you have to turn it up side down to get it to work correctly! Very surprised Miracle-Gro let such a product out on the market. I will be looking for a different type of sprayer for sure. Shame on you Miracle-Gro!!

What is the problem with the sprayers now?

I have purchased two of these hose end sprayers this summer. I have used them for years and they have lasted for years before this year. Both of these have the same problem. After a month of use (I use them daily because of the drought), they begin spraying out of the top of the hose connection. I get soaked. I am not happy with having to but 2 of them within the past couple of months. I will be looking for another brand. I still like Mircle-Gro fertilizer, though.

Leaks

Just purchased today! Hooked it up and it leaks everywhere around the hose connection. The rubber gasket is in place and doesn’t appear to be leaking there. Product is dispersed but I get soaked. Terrific product.

Very disappointed!

I have two that I purchased earlier this year and one that is 5yrs old. New ones are both leaking, not the gasket or hose, but through the seam.

Wonderful Product- Never Disappoints

I always return to miracle gro for my plant needs. This is the simplest way to feed a large area of vegatation

Easy to use and effective!

I have no idea why there are so many negative reviews for this product. I have used this for years and it works great! Very simple and easy to use. Don’t get worked up about how much of the product is spraying out. Just dump in the product, screw on the top, turn on your hose and water as you normally would. My flowering plants and tomatoes produce substantially more fruit and flowers when I use this product on a weekly or biweekly basis. I recommend it highly.

Help! Instructions leave a lot to be desired.

I found the directions to be very vague. I had to search the internet to find out what the lock/unlock switch was for. It doesn’t give specific instructions on how long to water the plants. I watered for about 30 minutes and my feeder is still as dark blue as it started. I’m not sure I even fertilized. Please advise.

Clever design--may be confusing

Not a great product, but it gets the job done. Many of the negative reviews may be due to a lack of understanding how this thing operates: The cover shoots a small high-velocity stream of water into the canister which dissolves the fertilizer. Once the canister fills with water, the mixture is syphoned into the spray stream. Crude, but effective. You can help things along by gently swirling or shaking the unit. BAD

I agree with the bad reviews, I did the feeder as instructed- nothing comes out of the hose, in the meantime I’m getting soaked by the hose & feeder. Now I have all this “food” food for my plants. I have to mix the solution, pour into my watering can & carry to my plants. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!!

Bad design, but I finally got it to work!

I wrote a review last week that the sprayer doesn’t work. Is there supposed to be a tube in this sprayer, as mine didn’t come with one! I did finally get it to work by turning it upside down and spraying. It worked like it should. I don’t believe it was design to work that way, but it’s the only way it will work.

Spray Time

I've used Miracle Gro for a while now. My biggest beef is there is never a time mentioned for spraying. I want to use the Bloom Booster on my Crape Myrtles, but I have no way of knowing how long to spray each plant! 20 seconds? 2 minutes? 5? It will only tell you how many sq ft it will cover. Is that for grass? For gardens? For bushes? Disappointing to say the least...

Very Disapointing

Bought this feeder with the hopes it would reduce time we spent fertilizing our garden. Our old feeder was a real time saver. Once the water hose was hooked to the feeder and turned on the jar would not fill with water. There was a very small stream of water coming from the feeder unit into the jar, barely a dribble. We manually filled the jar with water hoping this would work. Fertilizer never dispensed from the feeder. Jar is still full of water and fertilizer. None of the product eve...

No leaks! So Much Easier Than Manual Watering

Read several poor reviews describing leaks. Was hesitant to buy this sprayer, glad I did. Am tires of filling gallon jugs of miracle grow around to my 20-25 tomatoes, 2 dozen pepper plants, dill, cucumbers, horseradish, and blueberry bushes. This sprayer works like described , has three spray patterns and does not leak a drop from anywhere it shouldn’t.

Big Disappointment

I bought this about 2 weeks ago to replace an older model I had used before, it's a big disappointment! Leaks around the spray head and is hard to hold for more than a few minutes.

Bring back the old design, this isn't cutting it

This dispenses the product very irregularly. Pull the trigger, and a long burst of navy blue water, followed by purely clear water. I HATE this thing!

Should have read reviews before buying one...

As others have stated, the thing does not dispense fertilizer at the proper ratio - crystal clear water is coming out the sprayer and a huge amount of granules remain after 15 to 20 minuets of spraying. Stay away. You have been warned.

I bought this from a nursery and it leaks the second time I used it. Very unhappy and frustrated about it. I agree with almost all of customers who wrote the review Re leaks. Not good product and this is the second time I bought in the last 6 months.

Didn't fill the jar wit hwater!!

I have two models of miraclegro garden feeders. For both of them, I added the prescribed package of of miravlegro feed, connected the jar to the spray head, and trened on the water. . I both cases the spray head did not fill the jar with wATER BEFORE SPRAYING, BUT JUST STARTED IMMEDIATELY Spraying. What do ai to need to do to get it to fill the jar and use the sontetns??
