Spraying plain water

I bought this sprayer brand new and a 5lb bag of feed. Once filled up the water was still coming out clear. Sprayed for about 15 min bottle still full and blue. Saved it going to give it one more try. If it doesn’t work i want to be refunded for the sprayer but will continue to use miracle grow.

Mine doesn't work

After filling it with Miracle-Gro, I turned on the water and waited until the water reached the top. That took about five minutes -- longer than I expected. Then I used it for a lot longer than 12 minutes because the jar was still full of plant food. I finally gave up. When I unscrewed the jar, I saw a lot of sludgy plant food that remained in the jar. I can't tell if any plant food was sprayed at all.

Need to improve one or two things.

This is the second one I have bought , the first one the plastic tube in the container broke and tried to make another one fit but the presure blew it off from the top part. When I first bought this it worked good. The second one did the same thing. so I think they may need to look at this problem.

Surprisingly useless product from a good company

I bought one of these 5-6 years ago that never worked at all, so I figured now they have the bugs worked out. Former professional landscaper, I am appalled at the lack of direction and control on this applicator. The water changes colors while spraying, which obviously means uneven application of food. The directions say "in 12 minutes you feed 500 sq. ft.". That is preposterous; there is NO way to tell when the food is emptied out. There is a "Shut-Open" switch on top for which I could fin...

Doesn't work

Just looking at the mechanics of the thing, water squirts into the food bottle but how does the food get incorporated with the water to be sprayed onto the plants? There is no method for this to happen, bad engineering! Doesn't work not worth the money

Cannot refill miracle gro granular fertilizer spra

I cannot get the holding bottle off to refil it with fertilizer. Won’t budge

Terrible! Leaks!

I have purchased this product several times over the last 25 years. They never work! Doesn’t matter what hose I use. I will never buy this crappy product again. It’s not worth my time to look for the receipt to get a replacement or a refund.Miracle grow you need to get your act together! Start producing a product that works. The plant food is fine but the mechanism to get it to the plant is unusable. What a huge waste of money! What an enormous mess! Thank you!

Leaks!!!

I have a large garden and use this sprayer often-They don’t last more than two months before leaking. Going to try another brand.

Why is container still full of blue water?

I purchased the feeder yesterday and used it today. I filled will granules to the 200 sq ft mark. It took forever to fill up with water. When it finally did I assumed the water would be blueish and the container would empty when the fertilizer was gone. I watered the front and back yard. That was not the case. The container is still full of blue water. Did my plants get any miracle gro????

Leaks like crazy!!!

I’m still soaked from trying to use this feeder! It leaks between the yellow connector and the green handle, not from the connection to the hose. I tried re-seating it, less water pressure, holding very tight with me hand, all to no avail. The water just continued to spurt out like crazy as I watered my plants. But, I really don’t think any of the fertilizer came out. This was my first and last time using this extremely disappointing and aggravating product.

What happened to your products!!!!!

For many years this sprayer was great now with a new sprayer I just took a shower. It leaks at the hose and shoots back with nothing coming out the front. I used a new hose with other sprayers and the hose is fine. I should have checked your reviews first. Yes this will be going back to the store.

Bring back to old design!

I’m seconding all the complaints here! I’ve been using MiracleGro for close to 50 years and the plant food is excellent and the old applicator design was GREAT! The new design stinks. The handle is too big; seems obvious it was designed for a man’s hand. Put some women on your design team and/or the focus groups to get their input! Also, this one drips all over you and doesn’t project the spray, doesn’t matter what spray style used. So so disappointed in this applicator. I’ve resorted to usin...

bad design

I have had this sprayer for many years and stopped using it because it leak badly. I tried taking the o ring that seals the bottle to the sprayer and inspected it and it was okay. It seems like the O ring is not thick enough. It has never worked right. I was going to buy a newer version but by the reviews I am afraid to try another the newer version.

Love the concept but it needs much improvement.

I purchased this a couple weeks ago and thought it would be a wonderful idea. The first time I used today it leaked a bit. Oh well it happens right. Then when I tried to lock the little tab in place it fell down inside the top part of the container. Not happy. Does not feed anything

I've had this for a few months and it leaks everywhere. Doesn't feed my garden. Just seems to water it.

Disappointed

Bought this a couple of months ago. Worked ok a few times, but now it won't shut off. When I release the trigger, it goes from full spray to half spray. It will not shut off. MG has really cheapened these sprayers over the years. I have always had one, but rarely get more than a year or two out of them. Now, two months and probably 4 uses. Don't bother to email them with issues...they don't respond. I will return it and get something else.

Should Have Read Reviews Before Purchasing!

I purchased the garden feeder and was able to use it one time. The next time I attempted to use it, water sprayed out everywhere except for where it was supposed to go! Wasted two batches for the actual Miracle-Gro trying to get this thing fixed where it could be used. Still leaking everywhere. Yes the washer is intact and no it isn't my garden hose as it wouldn't have worked the first time I used it. Anyway, should be a lot cheaper since it obviously is disposable after one use, what a waste of...

Waiste of time and momey

I bought this products because i was tired of having to use a bucket each time i wanted to fertilize. Since i needed to fill about 25 buckets each time to do all plants. I tried this product this morning. I added fertiliser for 300 ft. the water is so clear that there is no fertilizer coming out of the spray. I did it fot 15 minutes and the container is still full of fertiliser... DO NOT WAIT you money. I will go back to using my buckets. At leat, i know the tha plants will be fertilized... i'v...

Very Disappointed

As a long time user, when I needed a replacement I bought the model with all the new features. The new unit does not feed! The new unit leaks continuously! Why change an excellent product with this poor design. Bring back the basic model that worked. I used a competitor’s sprayer, not the best option, but it worked.
