Very Quiet Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall we've been very happy with this washer. It's a great size for big loads. It's very quiet which is a huge plus for us since our house is on the smaller side.

Beware

I’ve been using this washing machine lightly for two months. Suddenly on a quick wash cycle with a single not bulky, not large item, it literally shook itself to death. No product support on the weekend when it happened. I’ve never experienced anything like this with any other brand. This was my first Maytag purchase.

Had it 6 months and it's already nonoperational

Very unhappy-thought Maytag was supposed to be the best. Control board errors right from the start. Eventually it stopped responding to the resets and I had to break it open to get the clothes out. Which meant the lock got broken.. and the lock is so new it doesn't even show up on Maytags own replacement parts site. The people who lowes/maytag sent out to handle hadn't even seen this part and of course, they didn't have it on hand and had to order. SO...another week without a washer.

It’s quiet, it does help to collect pet hair and lint. I am on my third machine. A part keeps going out. The first time, no available part. The second time, it would take 21 days to get the part and Maytag was not too nice. Number three, explained all to Lowe’s and showed video. Number three arrived soon after. Lowe’s saved the day.

Must have for shedding dogs!

Amazing washer big loads little load this thing is amazing. Easy to use! Our favorite feature is the hair collection system. A must have for a pet friendly home!

Lowe’s installation was very bad

Lowe’s delivered and installed the washer incorrectly. They installed the water valves to the incorrect ports on the machine (hot to cold, cold to hot) and washer no longer worked after 24 hours. Needed to get a replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am happy with the purchase. The one thing I am unhappy with is how loud the washer is. It makes loud noises throughout the cycle. I love the pet pro feature! This is the only reason I did not give the product 5 stars.

Simple installation Choices for wash are many.

Procedure to start a load is a little time consuming. Seems to do a great job of cleaning.

Do not buy

Bought this machine in November (5 months ago) and already broke had repair men out twice. I guess it needs a new part and they were not able to come back for a month. Got a call 5 days ago and they were able to come fix the washer a week earlier, I was psyched, until today when they called and said that they were not able to come out and fix the machine because the part is on back order... so now what?? When will the part come in.. " I dunno" do not waste your money

Warning! Read Before Buying

We had this machine for 34 days before it died mid-cycle. The lid was locked and we had no way to get our wet clothes out. A repair technician came and said the motherboard died. The motherboard has been on backorder for over a month and Maytag/Whirlpool does not have an estimated date for the motherboard to be back in stock. for the 30 days that I did have the machine working it went off-balance a lot with both small and large loads. Was not hassle free

Our order was supposed to be delivered to the store and 3 days later it still wasn’t there we went in the store and no one had any idea where it was after someone called the distribution center still no luck some one checked the po and came to realize that it was at the store the whole time just a lack of paying attention to what the customer orders and not time did anyone say ohh we’re sorry it was something that was overlooked we just felt that we didn’t matter and we shop at Lowe’s a lot...

Great features!

While I have no complaints about it failing at the end of the warranty period, it is interesting. The new one has a bigger basket, which I love, and the Pet Pro feature with hair filter works great. My only complaint is the start button. It doesn’t seem to like a touch or a press. Either the touch tech needs to be improved or just make it simple and use a press switch. Keeping yo...
