Shiny piece of junk

The washer was bought about 2 months ago new! It’s did nothing but go off balance during the spin cycle and flys across the hall and hits my bathroom door breaking the latch in the washer. I’ve had the Maytag repair company come out several times and fix it as it is under warranty. They finally said my floor is unlevel and refuse to help anymore. Greatly disappointed!

I had to replace my 5-year old Maytag with a new one and I absolutely hate it! The mandatory cleaning cycle appears at the worst possible time! I just spent an extra 15 minutes trying to stop this stupid cleaning cycle when I was needing to wash some delicate items - with no time to spare! If I could buy an unused Maytag like the one I had, I would do it in a New York minute! Perfect size washer!

Love the options for cycles with this machine. I had a larger Maytag, which I found was too big, but this model is just right! Large enough to wash king bedding and large loads of towels, but a good size when smaller loads are needed.

maytag washer/dryer set was returned for an LG front loader. problems w/ the maytag washer: 1. tub did not fill with water - perhaps an install or control panel issue. 2. touchpad control delayed response. 3. tub spins violently. 4. not user friendly. bc of the above problems i lost confidence in the maytag brand. problems w/ the maytag dryer: 1) dryer door locking mechanism cheap quality.

The delivery crew was professional and eager to answer any questions I had. The installer saved me over $50. He indicated that I did not need to replace the hoses and return the ones I had purchased.

The pet setting is absolutely amazing. I can’t remember the last time I had to use a lint roller! The app makes it so easy to set up a custom cycle, monitor the progress & getting a notification on my phone when it’s time to put things in the dryer means I actually finish the laundry instead of forgetting about it! I do wish that there was some kind of alert before the tub drains when filling with the faucet. I had some bulky items that I wanted to soak & the water drained completely after ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the new washer for about 8 weeks and I absolutely love it! The size is perfect for any extra large loads we may need and with two dogs the additional pet hair filter is amazing! I will say so far the only issue we have run into is the load being unbalanced more often than we noticed with our old washer, but overall not a huge issue to manually redistribute the load when needed.

It's sad when you purchase something brand new and immediately start having issues turning on the washer. New panel is on backorder for indefinite date. What am I suppost to do? Go without?
