Easy to operate!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a Samsung that was giving error codes, and taking hours to complete a wash. This new Maytag is easy to operate, and gets the clothes clean!

So much room

Love the look, how quiet it is. I love that I connect my phone to it. I love that I can put a big comforter in to wash because it has so much room.

Sometimes the old is better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought it was the same size as my previous Maytag, but it is shorter. The touchscreen is something I am not sure of, you cannot just hit start. To much time is done to set a load on. Actually I liked the old washer but unfortunately it kept leaking.

Learning curve

Clothes seem to be real wet. Also, some water stays in the detergent/fabric softener dispenser. Just enough to be concerned about mold accumulating if it isn't emptied after each load. Easy to use

Ditch the digital delays

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am disappointed that I had to use a Maytag set up app and every time I run a load I must stand and count the seconds that are wasted while the machine responds. What happened to old fashioned knobs that work the instant you turn and set them?A flat lid would be preferable. Otherwise the washer fulfills its purpose well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a good washer with one minor problem. There is a gap between the back of lid and the control panel so that if you are using hot water, steam and some water come up onto the panel. I have placed a rolled up towel there to stop that.

Great features to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Maytag washer and dryer lasted 37 years. I did not have to do anything with the old washer but the dryer needed more regular maintenance. The new washer and dryer works great. Have to get use to the electronics but it works great. Hope it lasts as long as my old Maytags.

Maytag Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like everything about this washer except that I tend to get unbalanced loads fairly frequently. This happens with jeans, towels, sweatshirts, any load that has some heavier items in it. I do not overload it and I put the clothes in evenly. Somehow during the wash cycle, the load becomes redistributed and unbalanced when it comes to the spin cycle. Other than that, the machine is very nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned the older version for almost 10 years until it broke. I liked it a lot so got the brand new model and it seems to perform very well also. My only complaint is that it’s louder than the old one especially when rinsing and draining. My laundry are is right next to the family room so it can be annoying.

This washer ruined my kitchen floor on the second

On the 6th load of clothes, water spewed out of the side of the back panel and flooded my kitchen and living room.

Great washer

I have only had this washer for a couple weeks but I love how huge the tub is. I feel like the clothes having lots of space to move around helps them get cleaner. It’s easy to use and works well. The tub is large and deep so if you happen to be on the shorter side (I’m 5’9) you may have trouble reaching the bottom of the tub without a step stool.
