Dryer Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer last month and am so glad I did. I am still learning about all the features but it works great. It is replacing a dryer that was in excess of 25 years old.

Washer does not expel enough water on spin!

This washer and dryer are so pretty and so terrible. Right off the bat I noticed how cheap and flimsy the detergent drawer was. My 10 year old Maytags were replaced with these, but they were built solid. My dryer broke on my old set. My first time using these I chose to do a "clean cycle" without using any product just to do a test run. When I opened it and looked inside, there was a large pool of water in the bottom of the drum. Awesome Washer Dryer Set

The Pet Pro front-loading washer-dryer combo is a great product. It is efficient, quiet, and cleans clothes thoroughly. The included Pet Pro features gather extra pet hair as expected.

Extra features for the win!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the sensing and wrinkle free features in this dryer and how it adjusts to the load. It is larger than my previous dryer and I get more done in less loads. Easy to use.

Terrible delivery experience

Pet Pro feature is a gimmick………

Gets everything really clean. Makes less noise than my top loader did. I Like that after 30 loads it tells you to run a clean cycle. But the Pet Pro cycle……….(reason I bought the machine) Well maybe it removed more fur but it all goes into the drum of the machine on the door and in the rubber gasket. The filter doesn’t collect a thing!!!!! Like absolutely nothing. Fur everywhere but in the fur filter…….. I have to wipe it out when I wash dog blankets or there beds. Not working correctly

Machine doesn’t drain the fabric softener. This is unacceptable in a brand new appliance. I have had a Maytag front load washer for years and never had an issue. This is why I purchased a Maytag for my new house. Customer service line to schedule a maintenance appointment is impossible…Lowe’s needs to stand behind the products they sell. I did not purchase an additional warranty and that should not be an issue for a brand new product.

It has some nice features

Great washer!

Purchased the washer to assist with dog hair removal. Was skeptical. I am very pleased with the trap that catches the pet hair in the drum. I am getting hair on every load. Could not be happier. Highly recommend! The washer and dryer are a great pair for pet hair removal. The washer is also very quiet...added bonus.

HORRIBLE

Returned the first washer because it was not extracting water from the clothes. Had a plumber come out and the drain line was fine. Requested a second one and after the second wash of just three smaller items, the gasket had torn and the hair had collected in the crevices of the drum rather than the filter. The filter does not work at all. Stay away from this gimmicky appliance. The set was also louder than I expected. Switching to an Electrolux. Maytag has gone downhill, unfortunately :-(

Bad washer, bad software

We've owned both the stackable and non-stackable PetPros, and the non-stackable are superior. There are too many pre-set options for the sake of options. The software feels slow and cumbersome. With small loads, the unit has frequently sat and slowly tumbled while reading 0:01 left in the cycle, but it would never complete. There is too much emphasis on WiFi. The unit seems to clean well and removes some pet hair with its built-in filter. It frequently clogs and should be cleaned each cycle. T...

Machine works fine but delivery is awful.

The washing machine performs as described. However, I placed this order with the purchase of the pedestal. I expected both items to be delivered on the same day but this was not the case. I paid for everything together why was my order split? I will never make an online purchase from Lowe’s again.
