Great features if they worked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer works fine. I haven't tried the steam yet. Spent extra for the Wi-Fi on both the washer & dryer & they won't stay connected because our Wi-Fi is greater than the one suggested we use. I can connect at the lower speed, but it won't stay there because we have the 5g which it keeps reverting back to. Is there an upgrade or a fix to remedy this?

Serviced 9x in 10 months - Maytag will not help!

I purchased this washer based on the “pet pro”, making you think the clean out trap is in the drum of the machine. IT IS NOT. It’s also not accessible (as on most every wash machine) without removing a total of 21 screws, removing the entire panel, electronic board and a third panel, removing a seal, unwiring 2 wires and using a shop vac to vacuum out the water it won’t drain. Terrible machine

Machine is awful and you'll regret it the second it starts after they leave from installation. From leaking everywhere, the drum not being attached correctly, manufacturers faulty inspection, and fighting with Lowe's to do things right on refunding us. This washer isn't a good investment unless you are just wanting to waste money. Monitor your account for the correct amount for the refund from lowes because they lose pieces that you purchased or they dont do an account for them. They also try to...

Hope you don't actually have pets

I've had this washer <3 months it's already refusing to work. I specifically purchased this because it was supposed to be tailored to those of us with pets. I happen to have 3. 2 of which shed profusely. Bottom line don't waste your money. I should've bought an LG or a Samsung.

Maytag is not the Maytag it used to be

I gave up an 18-year-old unit that I finally fixed prior to receiving the new one. These new machines are aluminum thin compared to my old unit. My advice to Maytag is to go back to the making of the old units without all the modern electrical equipment on them not necessary to have all that equipment. 3 months in and I need a new part

part cost 158 and after only 3 months it shouldn't need any repair it just stopped draining. its not a clog the part just stopped sucking it out of drum area.

I'd give this thing negative stars if that were an option. I have had this machine for 3 years and every 3 months I have to call a company out to unclog the drain filter because the idiots at maytag/whirpool made a machine and marketed it to pet owners and then buried the drain filter so far into the machine that only a professional can access it. Do not buy this machine

I've had this machine for six months. It stopped draining properly so I opened up the owners manual and it said to clean the filter IF there is a pull out panel. Mine has no pull out panel so I scheduled a warranty service (which took a week meaning we couldn't do laundry). The tech came out and had to take the front panel apart to get at the filter and clean it, and told me that Maytag doesn't consider that a warranty repair and it just needs to be cleaned every few months.
