The hooper doesn't hold 140lbs

One time you Google it and its 140lbs then 80lbs. Brand new right out of the box review. Easy set up. Little tricky for settings. Plugged it in put a bag of pellets in it hopper. Go to turn it on and stove skips over feeding cycle goes from cleaning to lighting. Doesn't even try to turn the auger on. Glad I tried it out before the cold hits.... not too impressed. Bought this brand new so I wouldn't have to worry or work on it..

Junk don't buy

Installed in oct 10 before I left for a 2-3mo. Work trip come nov 22 after wife was using for a week a part is bad already and will take over a week to get the part, lowes won't return and they won't expedite part, im 1300mi away and it was my family's only heat sorce. Luckily I had someone put a popeane heater in but there's another $300. I was warned not to buy this and didn't listen dont make the same mistake it's cheaply made junk. Do Better

Purchased this stove for the large hopper size and auto thermostat (set it and forget it) features. It wastes pellets by somehow missing the burn pot where pellets are supposed to drop into. The thermostat is very inaccurate from actual room temp. Which was mentioned to customer support along with the fact that the constant sound of the auger dropping the pellets in is noisey, but hey, "that's normal." excellent stove for small area

Englander Replacement

I replaced my old Englander 25-PDVC, the H140XL is so much better. consistent heat, less ash. It has only been running for a few days but already provides more heat and uses less pellets compared to the unit it replaced.

love the stove, very similar to my pleasant hearth

this is a very heavy stove and is very similar to my 10 year old pleasant hearth stove I just retired. Ash pot and baffles are exact and also hold 120 pounds of pellets. very happy so far, very very quite, love the Bluetooth wifi connection!! I highly recommend this!!

DELIVERY

I was very disappointed with the delivery of my pellet stoves i asked the driver to put in a secure place on the front porch. He was snotty and seemed like a bad mood. He abrubtly said NO he couldnt do that.. He just dropped the 2 pellett stoves in driveway behind a truck that was parked there. I asked him just to move away mfrom truck he said NO... I have a elderly husband and if he had to b e taken to hospital I wouldnt have benn able to get truck out because of the stoves in back of tr...

I've owned for 2 years. This has been a great reliable Stove. No issues at all. Reading other reviews makes me believe they are doing something wrong., or received a dud. If maintained this is a great affordable Stove.

Don’t buy this

We almost lost our home and family last night. Thankfully smoke detectors woke us. Reviews when we purchased this at the end of January 2024 were good but since then it’s been negative. Fires for clogging and fires starting, that happened to us last night. Horrible experience to have happen.

Almost burned house down

AFTER REVIEWING MANY reviews this is A danger. My brother cleaned ut between each use. Monday the person I spoke to said they would take it back. Now they won't. We got no where with the manufacturer. LOWES we spend a fortune here. NO More. A year warranty. Really v

Obviously a no buy

We bought this for my brother and last night he too had severe smoke and I had him call the fire dept and they pulled it right out of the house. So now he has no heat in the kitchen. IM hoping to get my money refunded by Lowes as there us NO support and hope to push for these to be recalled.

Master Forge Unreliable

The Master Forge H140XL worked great for the first year, then it stopped working and I cannot find anyone who services them.

Lousy Pellet Stove

This is a terrible model. We purchased this last winter, and we have had problems with it ever since. Within an hour of starting the stove, the door glass is completely black, and a smoke smell starts to creep into the house. When we shut the pellet stove down after 3-4 hours it takes multiple hours to shut down and we have had to open the door and run the smoldering ash pot, and ash tray below outside because it just continues to smolder during shut down.
