esc1 code on first day

Had the new masterforge pellet stove delivered today after 3 hours of use stove shuts off with ESC1 code. The directions are minimal to the extent of understanding what to do. Not happy with stove.

Great stove

we installed the stove, followed instructions and started the stove, it worked great for about 3 hours or so then the exhaust blower motor fried and smoked up our entire cabin. Called Lowes because Master Forge Company was closed on the weekend. Lowes told me they would make it right if I had issues with the manufacturer. called Tech support at the number on the manual, they were very helpful and friendly. A great price.

I bought this stove a few weeks ago at Lowe's. I've had 4 to 5 pellets in my house and in my shops. This one is a great price puts out a lot of heat. Just set it and walk away it takes care of everything automatically. Whisper Quiet fan.. Very easy to clean and maintain.

Poor Pellet Parts

First Lowes notified me that I had picked up the pellet stove. I had not. Then after unpacking, it was obvious that the pellet stove had been repackaged and I found parts missing. Lowwes customer service was no help except to give me the fabricator's phone number and told me thate it was my problem to resolve the issues with them.

Keeps shutting off

Stove keeps getting an error code ESC1 and shuts off after 40 minutes of running on highest setting, code changes to an e6. Have to wait for it to cool down before it can be restarted. Not very reasonable when the temperature never gets above 40 degrees in my shop. Trying to get any technical help is ridiculously none existent. Had it 2 months, about to take out back.

Best Option

We had this installed two weeks ago and it has been excellent. It heats our home very well. I still can't figure out the automatic shut-off and on features, so I have to turn it off when it gets too hot manually. The wifi feature is fantastic! I can turn it on and off when we are not home.

Very Satisfied

I live in Alaska and I bought this to take some of the stress off on my aging boiler system. I installed this in my basement and I run it at about 82F and my boiler only kicks on occasionally now with this pellet stove running. Setting the thermostat to 82F on the setting I use cause the stove to turn on at 77F and turn off at 82F. I wish I could set the temperature to turn on at let's say 74F and turn off at 84F so that the stove wasn't starting and stopping as much as it does now. That aside, ...

I love this stove.

This stove was easy to install. The start stop function works great. Eco1 I adjust the temp a little higher to make the whole house warm. The eco2 function is wonderful. The stove comes on and warms up to temp, then drops down to a min. When it detacts the temp has dropped it cones back up a little higher. Very nice.

I replaced an Ashley stove that quit working, with this one. Man what a difference. It's quieter and the larger hopper is nice. The wi-fi is awesome, no problems getting it to connect.

Easy to use and control. Wi-Fi is great to control from anywhere.

I switched from a englander to this unit to have a self starting thermostat controlled unit. I am blown away at how much better this unit is at burning and leaving 100th of the ash. More efficient burn means less pellets used. This unit heats up faster and gets hotter then my old unit and it cost the same. I would reccomend this unit as an upgrade or a new unit. The wifi app on your phone allows control from anywhere. The large hopper allows a few days run time without refilling.I would recommen...

piece of crap

Got it installed and after I noticed the door wasn't shut completely. It took a lot of effort but, I got it shut. Later that day the pellets weren't loading so I had to open the door and when I went to shut I couldn't and the plastic piece broke off. Then I kept trying to shut it and then the handle itself broke. Something isn't right with the door.

it works great!

I bought this to save from using my homes gas heater because the price of fuel going up. after installation and testing for leaks from chimney, this thing works great! it took a while to get used to but I turn it on in the late afternoon and run all night until morning. I have a 2500 Sq ft 2 story home and I had to lower the temperature on it because it got too hot. my homes heater has a few dead spots but this pellet stove doesn't. only complaint I have it I'm still trying to figure out how to ...

The amount of heat is amazing!

This product is easy to install and easy to use. Our first night we had our home at 80 degrees. Now we are learning how to adjust temperature and multiple features it provides. Highly recommend.
