Good, cost effective thermostat

I had no issues installing this on my GFHW system. My last LUX thermostat lasted around 10 yrs. I was an easy job to program it, I liked the differential program-ability.

Easy Use!!!!!!!!!!

It's a thermostat that is easy to read and use. I like the big numbers and the backlighting. The only reason I give it a three star rating is because this one needs to be returned. The indoor temperature reading will not go above 63 degrees. It's just one of those 1 in a thousand electronic products that don't work properly. I plan on exchanging it and purchasing the same one.

The box had been opened and there were no instructions on programming the thermostat.

New LUX Thermostat

Installation was a snap once I figured out the correct wiring pattern. Programming was easy as it was extremely intuitive. My son is in the market for a new thermostat and will be buying the same LUX model.

Incompatible and ended up calling a service technician to attempt calibration. Reinstalled old thermostat and returned unit.

I replaced my Honeywell thermostat with this one because Honeywell doesn’t have an adjustable swing temperature setting which caused my forced air system to keep cycling on and off. With this unit it allows room temperature to drop below what the thermostat is set at and can be increased in 1/4 degree increments. I have mine set so if thermostat temperature is 69 the furnace won’t restart until it drops below 67.5 this saves wear on the heating system. Easy to install and program.

Nice and Simple...

I wish I had replaced my old thermostat sooner. This one has less swing in temperature. The furnace cycles on more often, but it doesn't stay on very long. You've got this. I took the old one off and kept track of the wire labels, color coded (someone labeled the wires making it easy) then inserted each wire into the little hole and clamped them down with a screw. Easy Peasy. The programming was a bit tedious, but once it was set up it's been perfect.

I like everything about this thermostat from it being touch screen to the cool to heat switch. Easy to install my advice is to take a picture of your old wiring before you fully disassemble to make an easy smooth transition over to this thermostat

Pure garbage

Temperature reading not in keeping with settings....heater kept going on and off constantly. Had HVAC people out twice after installation only to find that the thermostat was faulty. Stick with Honeywell. If I could give lower than 1 star, I would!
