Excellent product. Have used it numerous times with success. Easy to apply (with gloves).

Clean sweep

Needed something to clean a rusted boot and nut on a mailbox, been on for ten plus years. Needed three coated but did the job. Saved a lot of time and effort.

Does what it is intended to do fast

I used it to prepare a fire screen before painting. Works well and fast. It sticks to the surface well. The only con is that it's not that easy to wash off, even with a garden hose.

Worked great for my project

This worked perfectly for my project which was an antique postage scale that had rusted from getting wet in salt water during a hurricane many years ago. The rust was not "crusty" but the entire scale was covered with rust. I sanded it first with a dry 3M stripping pad and applied it with a paint brush. I applied the rust remover twice in some areas and it looks great! A project I dreaded doing was done in about an hour.

Rust is History

...at least on the metal railings and porch details. I used this along with a wire brush to clean and prep porch railing and detail pieces before priming and painting. Huge difference in the end result. A little elbow grease and a bit of Loctite Rust Dissolver was a great combo!!

Automotive restoration

I used it on my cars heavily rusted brake caliper, knuckle and heavily rusted sub-frame after removing the rusted layers it worked wonderful now my car it rust free and rust protected with minimum effort. Before buying rust dissolver i was thinking of buying a sand blaster and a compressor for top$$$ i traded all that for only $7 bottle which basically did the same job faster and cleaner The gel sticks very well to the parts with no dripping which was very handy to use under the car and in remo...

Excellent Product

It worked super well. It removed the rust on certain parts of my scooter that had rust.

This was a great item that worked better than I expected.

it works wow

needed to refinish a cast iron outdoor table that had some rust... applied the rust remover it changed color as described and then painted it with rustoleum. Warning .. with any rust converter you cannot use latex paints as stated in the directions which most people do not read ha ha ha .. Rustoleum oil paint worked and its outdoors looking new

loctite rust remover

product works ok on small rust removal projects, however I would not use it or recommend it for any large job or deep rust imbedded stuff....

Did not like the preformance.

Did not remove the heavy rust the 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th time and it does not seal.
