Great Product

This product worked better than expected. I have my grandfathers milk can from the early 1900s that was heavily rusted and this product took the rust right off and left the underlying patina undamaged.

Rust removal

The navel jelly work pretty well. It clean the metal surface but it did leave a white residue that I had to wire brush. I did clean the surface with a wire brush before using the navel jelly as well.

Naval Jelly

Doesn't seem to be as effective as the older naval jelly but I the]ink it may be the quality of the chrome plating.

for tools and medieval helmets

removing rust from armor, especially medieval chainmail on a helmet. Just brush on, wait ten minutes and spray off. it removes the rust and allows the armor to shine!

It removed all the rust from where a big metal was on it.

Does a good job of removing light to moderate rust

I don't have much to compare it to as I have never used a product like this before, but used it to clean surface rust from my charcoal grill and it worked pretty well for its intended purpose.

Good Product

I had several wrenches and various other tools that were in a tool box in the back of my truck. Hadn’t used them in 2-3 years. Discovered that most items had severely rusted. Loctite Rust Remover did a good job of cleaning up most everything. Some small items were too far gone to salvage.

a great rust converter

I have used Locktite brand rust converter for years. It is a great product and Lowes has a good price on it.

My 20 year old car was starting to get a rust bubble, so I knew it was time for some preventative maintenance. I cleaned the surface and applied this naval jelly with a q-tip. First application removed a lot of the rust, but I followed up with a second coat which cleared the rust completely. A little sanding, primer and paint and it's like it never happened. 16 ounces should last for years at this rate.

Works great. Dissolves rust as indicated. It doesn't restore the metal but works good at surface rust.
