Would RecommendI was searching for a different type of rust remover and was directed to this product by a Lowes employee. I used it to clean a rusted up vise someone had given me. Considering the condition it was in and the amount of rust involved it did a pretty good job while only using half a bottle or so. After a complete disassembly and brushing the loose stuff off I brushed the jelly on working it in and let it sit for 10 minutes or so. Would RecommendBought this to remove rust from an old porcelain tube. It did not remove it completely and have had to do it many times to get the rust to fade. It is the only thing tried that actually worked any at all. Tried Clorox rust remover, WD 40 rust remover, Kaboom bathroom, nothing made a difference until this product.

Best rust & hardwater cleaner ever!
Would RecommendI used it on my tub/shower due to our very hardwater. Thick formula, applied with paint brush, let set & rinses off with wash cloth. No scrubbing! REALLY. The store that I used to get it from closed down. FINALLY found it again! Just make sure you follow directions. Do not use on stainless steal. I did not read the directions my first use & it "ate up" my stainless fixtures...my fault! SO glad that I can get it at Lowes now!
Bad batch?
Would Not RecommendThis stuff didn't do anything. I put it on about five different metal surfaces and it had zero effect. I even called Loctite to find out if maybe I had a bad batch. The Service rep was courteous but useless. I ended up returning this product. Very disappointing.
slow on heavy rust
Would RecommendI used this on a heavily rusted old trans am. On heavy rust it's very slow. Using a wire brush or steel wool definitly speeds the proccess. It is better to use a wire wheel on a grinder first then clean with naval jelly.
