Energy efficient - does the job!

Extended warranty purchased. Service request

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After the initial manufacturer warranty, I purchased additional warranty years. Glad I did, as after the initial warranty expired, my washer started leaking. Technician came out to look at it. Gave me some suggestions regarding the reason this may be happening. No service performed, just try this and if it happens again, let LG know. Service repair may be needed then. So far hasn't leaked again.

long cycles and dirty clothes

I've had this washer for almost 2 years now. It looks good, aesthetically, but my clothes often come out not that clean....shocking seeings as how long the cycles are (much longer than my previous non-LG front loader). I just don't understand what the issue is. I've tried large loads, and small loads and it doesn't seem to have any effect on the end result. I'm really disappointed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second LG front load stackable washer and dryer. The first set was red and played a little tune for a signal. This set is silver/grey and also play a tune. The dryer works with steam and washer has Fresh Care, steam. I have white towels and sheets and they come out perfect, even dirty dog mud towels.

Quiet and Efficient Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this washer based upon its high ratings by Consumer Reports. It’s the second LG washer we’ve owned. The first was still working perfectly, but when we sold our home the buyer wanted the appliances included. That washer was not wifi capable, but this one is. Our current washer is quiet and cleans thoroughly.

Nice to look at

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer 23 months ago. Overall am okay with it. Easy to use. Vibrates a lot on high speed. Still don’t know how to operate with a small load.

Leaks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From day one it has leaked a little water from the door. Customer service said to wipe clean the door seal, but that hasn't worked. They said they would have a repairman call, but there was never any call. It does a great job of cleaning and I love the look, so I am putting up with the leak since it is now past warranty.

Nice features, poor durability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have owned for less than 1.5 years. Had to call a repairman to fix washer already due to shock absorbers on drum going bad in this time frame. We do not overload the washer, and we probably do about 3 loads a week.

Works well but needs maintenance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washes great. After 10 months the unit started vibrating and walking across the floor. The suspension shocks needed lubrication. At 18 months, the door latch mechanism started to be unpredictable. It failed completely a month later.

Good Purchase

I love that I can wash my sleeping bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy that I can wash my sleeping bag, bedding and my clothes. It is hard for me to go to the laundrymat. It is far away. This thing is sweet! The people who installed it were VERY curtious and helpful.

Had to get it

We like the sanitary cycle

Warranty went out in June 2021, in the last of Nov, 1st of Dec I came down the hall and smelled a strong odor of bleach. Found the washing machine had stopped full of clothes and bleach and water. Good features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normal load takes about an hour and a 1/2 so a little bit long you can adjust it manually but it just doesn't do as well you don't get enough water to fully get everything wet like you used to in a front load washer
