Washer is a True Delight

Although I have yet to try out the Wi-Fi capabilities of my washer, manual operation is already a true delight, easy to understand and operate -- and it "sings" to me when the cycle is completed - much easier on my senses than the BUZZ of my previous washer. (but for those of you who might not wish to hear any end of cycle signal, there is a way to turn it off)... I look...

Junk broke in 5 year cost more to repair then new cost of new on

No hot water

We purchased this several years back and immediately noticed the water gets luke warm at best. We called the warranty service who sent out a local LG repairman. He said that is as warm as the water will get since it is an energy saving washing machine. We were very disappointed. Just recently, I spoke with 2 coworkers who had LG energy saving washing machines. They both said their washers get very hot water, so I am thinking something is wrong with this model or the repairman they sent out.

De1 error code

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this washer for only about 3 years be it gave me a de1 error code. I looked at different issues and it was the control board that is the issue. I only had this washer for 3 years and I need to replace the control board and it is not cheap. LG needs to fix this issues as I see others having the same issue as well with this specific model, no wonder it is discontinued.

Get error messages all the time

Have tp out washer through doun cycle sometimes to get the water out so that a load will go through all the cycles. Annoyiy

Just what we wanted!

This machine is fantastic at washing clothes. It doesn't matter if it's a small or super large load. It has a lot of features like sanitizing, heavy-duty, allergiene, bedding, normal, bright whites, tub clean, and a lot more. The WIFI feature signals when the cycle is complete. We are very pleased with our washing machine so far.

Short Life

This machine has been a very good appliance. No problem to date. Expect many years of use.

great washer choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that it senses what my load needs and adjust appropriately. It is so quiet and love the notification feature that is a short chime and not a horrible buzzer.

Washer works okay, but circuit board is bad

Less than 3 years from purchasing this washer, the circuit board went bad and we have to replace it. It's not covered under warranty. The washer works okay, but I don't think I'd purchase again knowing what I know now.

Best washing machine ever!

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our washer and dryer for about two years and love the.mm. They have great features and my favorite is the app I can have on my phone.

Not satisfied

We bought this washer in March 2020. The outer tub (made of plastic) failed and the counterweight disconnected causing the unit to vibrate wildly and make loud noise. LG covered nothing under its warranty. A reputable appliance service company evaluated it and the bid to repair was more than buying a new washer. The service tech said the plastic outer tube was poor quality and LG longer offers that unit.

Ok

I've had this washer for almost 3 years now. I liked it a lot, but always wished there was a spin only cycle. I figured if I ever got around to downloading the ThinQ app and connecting it I could download a spin only cycle. A couple months ago we began noticing water leaking. Repair person came twice and couldn't find the leak so I finally download the app to see if the Smart Diagnosis would tell me anything. It didn't and there's no spin only cycle to download either.

Smelly washing machine, Smelly clothes

I had a front loader for 17 years before I purchased this one and its companion dryer. They are both terrible and get worse with time. The washing machine smells musty, so musty you can smell it in the next room. Smelly machine makes all our clothes smell. The only way I can get the machine to stop smelling is to wash everything on permanent press.

Not satisfeid

LG wasn't able to fulfill my needs, my washer is broken too fast I owned this machine a few years only, it is enough expensive to keep it years to go

Doesnt last

Had this washer for 2 years and the bearing failed. Repair is more than the cost of a new washer.

Almost Perfect

My washer saved on both water and power. Takes clean to a whole new level. Quiet. Easy to clean. But I never expected it to fail inside of five years. Been waiting almost a month for action on my extended warranty. tE failure. I hope they resolve this issue soon.
