Can't get wi-fi connection to work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does a great job washing, but can't get the wi-fi connection to work with the LG app so haven't been able to use the smart features.

Awesome WiFi App Control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the app that tells you when your wash is done. I don’t like how it was a bit taller than my last model so I had to raise the height of the cabinet above it. By 1 inch. I love the presets for a guy who doesn’t do laundry.

Great performance

Damaged goods

The washer had a dent in the side panel. Not visible from the front so ok I will try it. Add some sounds of metal scraping metal. Well that’s not good. Let’s see if it clears up. Ok I let it keep going… Horrendously loud as it went into high speed spin. I had to shut it off before it was done

lemon

I bought this washer a year ago and has been leaking from the bottom. It has been serviced but after a few months it started leaking again.

decent washer

washer washes well but the rubber on the drum ripped within the 1st year causing some leakage out the door. It was fixed under warranty. blue tooth capability doesn't work for me. I've given up on it.

Unhappy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the washer/dryer pair because of space limitations. I have always used the speed cycle on my previous washer. When I try to use this cycle on this washer I am very limited on the number of articles I can wash in one load as it leaks water from the bottom--very inconvenient since it is impossible to get under washer to dry up the mess. I do not overload the tub! I will not recommend this unit to anyone

water leak

Way too complicated for what it does

Does a pretty good job with regular old laundry, but good luck with anything that requires special treatment. Further, you will need a senior software engineer to troubleshoot anything that goes even slightly amiss. We have one garment that is not supposed to go through a spin cycle. After several episodes of standing water in the drum at the end of a washing cycle and having to manually drain it, I am ready to go back to our old washer. It just worked.

Drum broke after 2 years

We noticed water leaking & couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. I was ready to buy another washing machine when I remembered I bought the extended warranty. (Highly recommended). They came and said the drum broke and the plan would replace it. A few days later, I got a lowes gift card for $899 to replace. Good deal! Now to find another washer !

Very happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with our purchase of this washer. We had the version of this same washer prior to this latest model. We loved that one too, but after 10-12 years it finally died.

Great features that don’t work!

This machine has not performed as advertised. Draining has been an issue from the beginning. Now, less than a year of light use, no water drains and now spills out when you open the door.

Great but times can vary

Speedy Wash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my LG Washing machine from March 10, 2021. It is in use almost everyday and has never given any problems. It is easy to use and washes really good and really fast. It also fits in tight spaces but washes big loads.. The thing I like is that it spins so fast it is fun to watch and at the end of the wash your cloths are almost dry. That helps with the cost of the dryer not working over time.

Doesn't spin the water out.

I didn't heed the negative reviews because of the ratings on other sources (Consumer's Reports, etc). WRONG. It has the issue I read about and it is so annoying I am considering going to the local laundromat instead of using this machine. The water doesn't completely spin out and my laundry is literally dripping on the floor when it comes out of the washer. I have to go to the bathroom and hand wring all the washed items out before putting them in the dryer, and then the dryer has to run forev...

Game Changer

This is mind blowing. My partner and I have a difficult time doing laundry, it sucks! We usually forget we leave a load in and then it gets stinky and we need to wash again - waisting time, electricity and cutting down the clothes life span. But this new technology that gives you the notification on ur phone is a GAME CHANGER. We now have ALL OF OUR LAUNDRY DONE, and its kinda entertaining too amd we would have never said that before.
