Disappointed – Major Component Broke Early

I am extremely disappointed with the LG WM3600HVA front load washer. After only five years of regular household use, the drum bearings completely failed, which is a major internal component that should last many more years in a premium appliance. Great machine thus far!

Washer is great so far. Easy to use more efficient than my old machine.

Lasted 3.5 years - Failed Bearings

Washer was purchased in summer 2021. The drum bearings have failed. Lasted 3.5 years. Dryer is still going strong. Washer sucks, should have gotten at least 5 years if not closer to 10!

Gimmicky presets are frustrating

Too many presets - it's almost impossible to pick your own temperature, speed, etc.. It overcomplicates something that should be simple. I've had the washer dryer set for about a year, and still get frustrated every time. I wish there was a way to bypass the gimmicks.

Nice looking machine.

A vent hole in the back of the washer that leaks water and soap all over the floor. Can only use liquid washer soap and small amount. Pods do not work. Was not told about this problem.

Defective washer

I purchased this washer at the beginning it was all working good but is has a design issue with the washing area tube. It makes a horrible noise when spinning cycle. I call warranty and they fix it and after 5 cycles the washer started making the noise again. Ugh.

Good product but can face issues later on.

Pretty durable washer.

I bought this washer, because I was looking for something new and efficient. This washer is impressively, efficient and washes very thoroughly. I would recommend this washer to anybody looking to save money on electricity and water and thoroughly washed clothes.

A Durable Washer

can’t use bleach!

I bought this washer thinking there was no possible way that it wouldn’t be designed to use bleach. There is no bleach dispenser. An online search shows that various customers have contacted the manufacturer to learn that you’re meant to open the door and manually add at some point in the wash cycle. What a step backwards for 2024! Would not have purchased had I realized that was even in the realm of possibility that such a standard feature would be omitted.
