Terrible Delivery and Installation

The installation was in 2 parts. The first attempt to deliver and install failed. The delivery person ended up delivering the 3 appliances and did NOT install any of them; he said he'd come back to do the installation and NEVER CAME BACK!!! After going to the local Lowe's store, a 2nd installation was scheduled. Compact for x-large capacity

I love that they are not as deep as my last set. Dryer is quiet and does a good job.

Serious buyer's remorse

My LG dryer stopped working after ~13 years, can't remember ever having a single problem with it so had a pretty good opinion of the brand overall. Should have seen in person before buying!

I bought this washer dryer set sight unseen because of the high marks in Consumer Reports. Just so you know... 1) Reversing the door is difficult - LG has a good video on YouTube to assist but even the most experience household handyperson will require almost an hour and a bit of muscle to do it. Good heating dryer but problem with dryer sheets

Good interface with app, nice functions and drying options. A bad design is that dryer sheets get stuck on the lint filter and create a d80 code which means exhaust problems. I will try no dryer sheets and fabric softener and see if that helps.

Grinding noise

I purchased this dryer a few month back and recently started noticing a grinding noise while drying.

Damp clothes constantly

It does have a big capacity, which is nice. We have had it for 6 months, and it has been very frustrating to get the clothes dry. I've tried every setting. The clothes are often slightly damp after every cycle, even with the heat and dryness setting all the way up. If I retry the cycle, it's sensors turn it off after a few minutes, even though the clothes are still slightly damp. The only way I can bypass this is by doing a "Quick Dry" cycle and turning the time up. The loads that aren't even ve...

Brand new and the ignitor is not working. So now i have to wait and get a tech. Meanwhile my clothes are all wet

Good Dryer, can't see the control panel too dim.

Control Panel is so dim that I am having to make labels so that we know what cycle to choose from. I've bought new lighting, turned off the lighting in the room; nothing helped it's just too dim. Dries very well but we cannot figure out what setting to put it on if we can't see the control panel. I would send back the washer and drier if they had a control panel that was printed.

Way overly computer programmed

Blackout panel makes it hard to see the power switch. Also there isn’t nearly enough user choice - you can’t set what you want for most all of the settings. Eg, I want to be able to set the temperature where I want it no matter what setting is chosen. Another issue is the dryness: it leaves clothes somewhat damp, and just putting it back on or to achieve dryness is immediately overridden by the pre-set programming, and it switches to ‘cool’ and sets itself to a minute or two, and again clothes a...
