Portable air conditioner only worked one summer. This summer when I rolled it out it’s only blowing hot air. I contacted LG for a service repair and never heard back from the service rep. I recommend you never buy an LG, portable air conditioner. They are trash.

Just in time for the heatwave

Air conditioning stopped working after 2 months.

I plugged it back in to use this year and it had stopped working/blowing cool air. It was such a pain to have a replacement shipped and then they didn’t even call to schedule a time and just shipped it to my address when I was on vacation. It was a nightmare all around but I’m happy to have it replaced and hopefully this one will provide more use than the original

This was the perfect solution for the thermostat war in our house. Our teenager has her room upstairs with the study across from her. In order for the central air to get her room cool enough, the upstairs becomes way too cold for us. The unit was easy to set up, and despite complaints that it's loud, I don't agree. Small but mighty!
I had another larger LG AC unit for about eight years until it finally died. I replaced it with the smaller one not knowing if it would have the same efficiency but it does and it takes up much less space. Highly recommend it!

I bought this for my small bedroom and it cools it down to a beautiful 60 degrees! I love it! However, if you have it going for a long time, the loud noise can bother you if you're sensitive to that. I'd rather have it be loud than be hot!
