Nice and Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and although it is a excellent air conditioner i had missing parts and a cracked one. I was trying to get replacement parts and i couldn't find the receipt so i guess I'm out of luck.

Great air conditioner/ dehumidifier.

We really like this LG unit, especially the dry, dehumidifier feature. The first three nights we used it in our bedroom we collected more than an gallon of water each night. The musty smell in our bedroom is gone. We turn off our central air conditioner at night and save $$ on electric bills just using the LG unit at night.

Excellent room air conditioning

We turn the air conditioning in our home up to 78 degrees. We close our bedroom door and turn on our LG Portable unit in our bedroom. The bedroom temperature drops to mid 60’s and we sleep like babies.

Portable Air Conditioner / Did the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In our lake home the wall unit went out and after some research we did not replace the wall unit but instead bought a floor model of the LG air conditioner. It was a great purchase and did the job to keep our dining room, living room and kitchen cool.

My Savior

I bought this about 5 weeks ago during a crazy heat/ humidity wave and it has been my savior. Used in master bedroom only it froze the room within minutes and I slept like a wrapped up baby. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase

Keep it cool CA

This is a good product, to my personal experience will work best on an enclosed room vs living room. My living room has high ceilings and it's pretty open, so it was not enough power to cool the entire thing down, but it did help to keep the house at a comfortable temperature. The air is pretty chili, the coolest it goes to is 60 degrees Fahrenheit. But I'm happy with the purchase. It was worth the money.

Our schedule broke and this unit cooled us off enough so we didn’t have to stay in a hotel

We bought this a few weeks ago, after researching what the best one would be and we’re so glad we went with this one. Easy to set up, Cools room down quickly and not too loud. Love it

Big unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it is more powerful then the last unit i had. My issue is with a few things .. unlike my last unit it doesn't hold any water you need the hose which it it does not come with. I was lucky that i could use the hose left from my last unit to continuously drain the water. The exhaust hose is a pain hands down keeps popping off the unit; finally had to duc tape it. Lastly i am not happy with the flammable refrigerant it uses. If i had known prior to...

Helps in TX heat however tube isn’t the best

Con: attaching the tube to the unit is a nightmare. It doesn’t lock on properly and I’ve had to re-tape multiple times in order to keep it attached. Also it always falls off when I move the unit. Pro in TX hear it’s help keep my master cooler with the central air.

Effective but loud

Plenty cold but so loud on low you need to talk over it. Called LG to see about a quieter model and they were difficult to reach and not helpful. Returned it for a GE Inverter Efficient Quiet model which is much quieter on high that the LG on low. No sure if a defective unit or if they are all this loud.

Cools off room quickly

Very happy with this unit. It works well and cools off room quickly. Very heavy and large unit.

It does the job quickly!

I decided to go the route of portable air conditioners for the bedrooms, instead of the exorbitant cost of adding central air. I bought 3 of the LG models and one of a different brand, but higher btu. The LG’s did a great job cooling the approx. 15x12 rooms, so much so in fact That I returned the other brand and bought another LG. Even at a lower btu, the LG performed better! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, is I wish the low speed ran a bit more quiet. I made the right choice with LG!

Cool Bedroom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With 100 degree temps outside, inside and the upstairs bedroom was consistently warm. Turning the thermostat down was not an option due to rising natural gas and energy providers' costs. While in an electronic store, I spotted the LG portable air conditioner which I bought. Since then, I have been sleeping in a cool bedroom. This is the best product ever!!

I bought our portable air conditioner because the central a.c. went out for 5 days. This is so nice and I wil have it incase something like this ever happens again. It cools the room pretty fast and was not too hard for us to get it set up. I love it.
