Cools the place down great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works well, cooks the place down pretty quickly. I do wish it had a vent adjustment rather than pushing it down to blow out instead of upwards. And the back tube keeps popping off if you move it too much. It locks in but the tube pops out. It's really hard to get the tube inside the window piece and the locking plastic piece for the machine.

Back Porch A/C

Perfect for my non-air conditioned back porch which I enclosed. Only negative was two plastic pins for the hinged louvers were broken upon arrival. The unit operates smoothly however. Am in process of contacting seller as per possible damage during shipping.

Works well when it works

I bought this product and it worked fine until the mfg warranty expired. Then the compressor quit and it would only blow air. Since I have owned it longer than the warranty covers, it is a very large paper weight

Works hard

It blows cold and has a thermostat. It will keep a 300sq ft area cool. But it will not cool one down in the middle of the day. So you have to start the AC in the morning. I should have gotten a bigger one. Also Lowes delivery was a week late and left the unit on its side. I had to leave it in the upright position for a day, before I could use it.

Broken out of the box

My unit came non-functional out of the box. But more importantly I've been fighting LG Support for the last 8 weeks trying to get them to repair it, return it, or refund it, and to get any sort of status what-so-ever on my claim. Needless to say, I've wasted the whole summer without an air-conditioner. All I get is run around in circles, promises of them going to contact me back that never come.

Made for a small room

I purchased this for use in an enclosed patio. The patio measures 232 square feet and this LG says it is good for rooms up to 300 square feet. This unit cools the immediate area decently but not the entire enclosed portion. I utilize fans to help move the air around and it helps some, but not enough. I would say this unit would be better suited for about 150 square foot area.

Great while it lasted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the portable AC in September 2022 and used it for a month or so and it worked great. The room would get really fresh quick. I put it back in the box when the weather outside freshened up and took it out in June of 2023. It worked for about a month really well and then it just stopped working. Great product until it didn’t work anymore.

Stopped working just as warranty expired

I bought this unit in July 2021. It was a bit noisy, but it worked alright for two years. Two weeks after the warranty expired, it stopped working. The fan blows but there’s no cold air. The unit was well maintained during this time, and always kept indoors. The warranty had just expired, but I wanted to see if maybe Hisense would still cover it. They didn’t. So think about that before buying one of these.

Not what I was hoping for.

Too loud. Makes talking and watching television difficult. Not particularly good at cooling. Buy a more effective and efficient window unit if you can. I wish I had.

Adequately cools.

I needed a unit that I didn't have to lift into the window sill. It serves that ourpose and cools the romm adequately.

I'm still finding how great this unit is...All the capabilities like time delays, remote settings and the really great cooling provided. Anyone that walks into our room is amazed at how well it works...

Works Well

Works Well, as a AC, fan and dehumidifier. Easy to install and easy to move to another room. Took away 1 star because it will cool 1 room, but not more than 1, so the square footage should say as long as it's 1 room.
