The install leaked the 1st time used. The connection to the old drain had insufficient length inside and caused the unit hose to crack. It's not a replacement oart so ai had to get a new unit and have it installed. 2nd install was done the way the 2st one should have been done.

Not as great as I thought.

Bought this model years ago but never left a review. At first I liked it. It’s quiet and it “sings” to you when you start & finishes. I like the added shelf up top & the adjustable top tray but it’s harder to load dishes. I had more options to place more dishes inside on my previous dishwasher. The silverware attachment is too big and takes up too much room. Pretty stupid idea especially when you have that top tray but what I hate most about it is the ridiculous amount of time each setting is to...

Nice looking but install hard

Very pricey

Good product but poorly designed control panel.

Craftmanship is very good. Really like the interior and the adjustable center shelf, and the controls that enable numerous different cycle choices. "Normal" cycle takes a long time though (almost 2 1/2 hours). White lettering on black control panel is almost impossible to read without a flashlight in anything but a very brightly lighted room, which many kitchens (including ours) are not.

Beautiful and quiet

So far we love everything. From the black stainless steel face to the 3 racks inside. It is so quiet we have to check it to make sure it's running.

Doesn't Dry & Smells Bad-- Even on "Extra Dry"

I've had this dishwasher months. I'm not crazy about the capacity on the lower rack. My old washer fit a lot more large pasta bowls, which is what we use a lot. The worse things is that it doesn't dry the dishes, even if I turn on High Heat Wash AND Extra Dry. Overnight Dry doesn't dry at all, either. Dishes smell bad when I take them out, even if they've only been in the washer overnight. I do clean the filter at least weekly, and I do rinse my dishes before loading, so there can't be that much...

Horrible bottom rack configuration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottom racks are not arranged in a particularly useful manner. I appreciate the way the two in the back fold down, but there's a giant dead space in the very center of the bottom rack, which makes it next to impossible to fully load. It cleans well, but IDK why it doesn't have an additional folding rack for the middle. Basically, if all you load is plates, well, fine, but it's just not designed well for anything except plates. Control board went out after 2 years

We bought the LG dishwasher when we moved into our home. It lasted for 2 years before needing to be completely replaced due to the control board going out and I was told it happens often. If you do decide to get one make sure you get the extended warranty.

Don't waste your money

I'm on my second one in 2 years and its died. The first one the direct drive went out and it was the same price to replace as get a new one. Now the second one shuts off in the middle of a cycle. It's full of water and won't complete.
