Great dishwasher
Would RecommendOur old dishwasher broke. We went to a couple of places to see options and liked what we saw and how we were treated at Lowe's. The dishwasher had everything we need. The first installer damaged the dishwasher and destroyed the kickplate underneath it. Lowe's made it right with no question. The new installers were great! We are very happy.

Quiter than my old GE dishwasher
Would RecommendBought this LDFN4542D to replace my old GE dishwasher. It finally crapped out after 12 years on Christmas day. I decided to buy this unit for its features and price, I got it for a sale price. Installed the new unit myself, it arrived two days after I ordered it. Installation process is straight forward. Made sure it was properly leveled before fixing it under the cabinet, very easy to level. This dishwasher runs quite I hope it will last as long as my old one. So far so good.
Not user friendly once installed
The dishwasher itself works fine but every time I need to change a setting I have to pull out the manual-- hold down two buttons for 3 seconds and then hold down another for two (as an example). Its ridiculous. And some of the settings make no sense (hold down two random buttons as the same time!). Make it easy for us please.
