Strong Odor

My biggest issue is the odor (more like a sewage smell) left behind after a wash. WE regularly clean and dry the tub as well as tub wash once a month. Regardless, the odor persists. Had an LG serviceman come out and he could not identify the source.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about 5 years ago and did fairly well. But unfortunately got much more use during COVID and the shaft broke down. Repair was going to cost more than the machine so we had to buy a new machine. If I had the extended warranty would not have been concerned. Really did love this machine and its performance.

Washes well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only downside is the rubber gasket has so many crevices that if you don’t completely air out and pat dry after every wash, mold will build up. We had to replace our gasket because mold toxic and impossible to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use, quiet while running, but did not expect that the motor would break right after 5-year mark. Could not get repair covered under warrantee, and likely, motor is covered for 10-years, with out of pocket cost for labor and tech visit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this to replace the same washer was only 5 years old but had broke. Appliance guy said they LG's don't work well if you fill them with heavy towels. I have reduced the amount of towels, will see how long this one lasts, so far so good.

LG Washer

Second time out of warranty, hope it continues working without problems. I should have bought the extended warranty Washes well, wish itdidnt need so much service

Have only had for about a month and am still getting used to it. Definitely like not having an agitator and being able to wash comforters and other large items.

Some good some bad

Love this Washer

Great features and good cleaning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchased this washer to replace one that broke. From very first use we could recognize how much better the clothes came out. The cycles were faster and the Turbo wash action really made clothes come out better smelling and cleaner using same detergent. Much quieter that our 3 year old washer we had and clothes also rinsed better with less water remaining in the clothes. With them having less water our drying time has also been fast...

Good features but not reliable

This washer has broken down on several occasions. It’s the mother board that keeps going out from what we’ve been told my mechanics.

Lots of Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer to replace an old Sears model two years ago. It has a 10 year motor warranty. Bought the extended warranty which has another 2 years left. Has functioned superbly. Has lots of settings. I only use a couple, though. Don't have a need to use the others so in that sense its over-engineered for me, but then the old washer had settings I didn't use either.

Works great when it’s working

Great luxurious look and best for home automation

This is WiFi enabled and one of the best appliance for home automation. You can control loads from your phone , gives you alert when every cycle finish.

Fits a king size comforter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this washing machine (older model) for over 5 years now. It’s been great and still doing it’s job! Only issue is the rubber ring that mold stained fairly quick and we have not been able to get that out. Another small issue was the drain pump recently stopped working, but LG had a tech out quickly and covered the repair in full. The drum is large enough to fit a king size comforter.
