Works very well, no more lockouts!!

Traveling back and forth while moving was a pain because it seemed like we were always forgetting one house key at the other place. With this lock, that was no longer an issue as we could enter with the keypad! Saved a lot of wasted trips and time due to forgetfulness.

Great Lock

Received this as a Christmas present. Installation was extremely easy and fast. After installation I had an issue with the lock working correctly. I took it off and reinstalled it in a matter of minutes, to no avail. I called the support number and they walked me thru the troubleshooting process. Come to fine out it had a defective motor. Smart Purchase

After considering all the pros and cons of making the leap to a keyless entry system, I bit the bullet and purchased this product. Easy installation and setup. Looks good and most important, the kids actually lock the door every time they exit the house! Since we have tenants in our 2nd unit, I appreciate having the ability to re-key the lock as necessary without a big hassle to change out tumblers/locks. Battery holding up well so far even with heavy use.

Good product

Easy to install. Need to have a back light when buttons are pressed at night. However, it's a good product.

Mechanism sticking not functioning DOA

After carefully following the instruction and video I discovered the lock does work properly. I order this thing in November 2017 got back logged and didn't arrive at Lowes till January 14. The rest of my locks on the house are Kwikset so I decided I would wait because I wanted the to use the same keys for all locks. The Smartcode 913 is a piece of junk. Won’t work

Got it to turn smooth without the back piece, but once that’s added, I can’t get it to turn smoothly no matter what I do. Therefor the automated setup won’t work, as it doesn’t turn smooth enough to trigger it.

GREAT LOCK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the lock, it was easy to install with easy to read instructions. It was easy to use the smart key feature to key it to our existing locks.

Works well with easy DIY instructions

Bought in early December and installed it myself. Instructions need to add information that if you want numbers to light up at night when you entering, you need to push the lock button first.

Super convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I been using this lock for about a year. Works perfectly and so simple to use. It’s nice to leave your house and not have to bring keys! If your car is running and you forgot something back in the house, you don’t have to shut car off, just push your code and your in. Super convenient. If you have a dog and your running late you can give a temporary code to a friend or relative so they can let the dog out.

Super easy to install and LOVE Smartkey

We love the 30 second auto-lock feature so we don't wonder whether or not the door is locked. The Smartkey is a great way to re-key the lock to match existing keys. It is easy. This lock also takes combinations up to 9 digits. It makes us feel more secure. Unfortunately the first lock we installed failed within 6 months (electronic issue), but tech support handled...

Great replacement

Bought this lock after out 10 year lock failed. Read the instructions. Very easy install as long as you do not skip any steps. Works great.

Great Electric Deadbolt

Installation, programming and rekeying was a snap. It probably took maybe 20 minutes to do everything. Option switches were already set to probably the most commonly preferred settings. Install hold lock button when you drop in the battery pack (reset function). I will recommend this lock to others.

Nice locking system

I got this to replace a keyed deadbolt. I installed it myself (70 yo female) without a problem. Programming was easy just follow the instructions. It's been operational for about a week now without problems.

This lock was easy to install. Very happy with both the appearance & the quality If I had another door to that needed a lock, I would buy another one in a heart beat
