Nice Lock
I bought two of these for some rental units. Installation and function are excellent. The instructions are not as clear as you might like. They rely on illustrations that are too small and sometimes in the wrong order. But as a combo lock, this is a good lock at a good price. Recommended.

Video easier to follow than written instructions
Easy installation. Video for installation was easier for me to follow other than written instructions. I didn’t have to use strike plate provided. My current one was a match. No adjustments or cutting. A miracle! I am 74. I recommend this product.

Attractive electronic lock.
Would RecommendI was replacing an existing deadbolt so this was very easy to install. Everything fit perfectly and the instructions were clear. To improve the battery life, turn off the blinking status LED switch.

NO KEY IN BOX
Would Not RecommendI had a maintenance man come install this for me. The screws were missing and there were no keys in the box. He had screws in his box that he used, now I’m hoping this company can send me keys? Or replace?

Poor quality
Would Not RecommendThis is my 2nd keyless lock in 2 yrs. That tells me the quality is not very good. Even though I reported problems with the old lock, when it finally quit working, Kwickset wouldn’t do anything about it. I purchased another one to match one on another door close by. This new one is 2x louder than the one I have. It sounds like it is laboring but I called the company and they just gave it a case number. Quality control is lacking and representatives will not take action when it is under warranty. ...

Poor battery life. Cannot depend on keyless.
Would Not RecommendI have had this keyless lock since Dec 2020, about a year and half. During this time, the batteries have died every 1-2 months. The batteries die unexpectedly, so I cannot truly go keyless because I will find myself locked out. I have followed all of the recommendations to get the best battery life. The manufacturer says batteries should last at least a year; this is completely inaccurate. I do not recommend this product if you want a keyless lock that you can depend on.

key pad is better
Would Not RecommendI like the key pad, instead of digital screen but it does not make a beep noise when pressing and make a funny noise when opening or locking, and the key pad does not light up in the dark.

Uses a lot of batteries

A little noise for a good price
Would RecommendThis is the second one I have purchased (to use on a second door). I like the look and the 10 button key pad. Honestly, it's a little noisy when it is locking or unlocking but as I use if only occasionally, it's fine with me. The lock smith told me it's pretty standard sounding at this price point. If you're a teenager trying to sneak in late at night, it might not be your first choice!
