Ho-Hum, at Best...

I am a Kobalt girl and was excited about this mult-function tool. However, I could not cut tin or peel/stick tiles. It's tricky to figure out. I would not want to attemp changing blades often. It worked well as a razor-edge cutter....but I could get one of those cheaper and easier to store.

tv ad faulty

yeah, on the tv ad, it says that when you purchase this item, wether in store or online, tahat you also get the sheaths that go with them. i received no sheaths at all. what's up with that??!!!

badly manufactured

Idea is good, shody manufacturing - adjustable screw thread does not work properly - sticks after a few turns

Acceptable, but not a great tool.

I should have expected the same quality tools as the two piece plier set I purchased last year. The tools work as they should but the total quality .... fit &, finish falls short of what I call a quality tool.

Generally terrible

If you're just gripping on to something flat, they're "ok". However if you're trying to grip anything with any other shape, they're awful. The machining seems to be misaligned and the teeth fail to latch on any shape other than completely flat pieces of metal or wood. I returned them for a refund literally the day after buying them.

Versatile & an update of older vice grips

Will work for what I intend using it for. Like the Kobalt Lifetime warranty.

What took so long for someone to think of this?

Very easy to use. I put it to work within 10 minutes of getting it home. Works great...replaces many tools.

Maganum grip pliers

Plier jaws were misaligned. Plier jaws were machined after molded as evidenced by grinder marks. This is evidence of poor design and craftsmanship at the factory level. If these external flaws are any indication of product quality, there is a strong possibility of internal flaws as well. I was very disappointed in this product, and returned to store for a refund.

Great product

Much easier to use then the Vice Grips that they are replacing. Self adjusting feature is great. I have been gradually replacing my hand tools with Lowe's Kobalt tools due to their quality and superior design.

Don't perform as advertised.

I took them back for a refund. They are not user-friendly.

future tools

Again leave it to Lowes to develop future tools these are the tools that will be the next standards in vice grips. Lowes, you did it again, so cool! Thanks
