GREAT PRODUCT, BUT

I WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT THE SHEATHS FOR THESE WAS NOT INCLUDED UNLESS ORDERED ONLINE. I THINK LOWES COULD DO BETTER THAN THAT.

Versatile pliers

Nice to have tow sizes since the larger one is tough for tight spaces. The spring action allows for a better grip. Good value.

Complicated to use

The ad on TV showed these clamping to anything but does not show the movement of the button that is very difficult to operate and is not a good design! 3 adult men who have tool experience could not operate them with one hand as depicted in TV ad and took at least 8 minutes each person to get working! Very disappointed!

Very disappointed!!!!

Poor design! Does not work like it was supposed to! Does not grip tightly to anything! Bought one set at the store and ordered one set online later...both sets are being sent back!!!

I like locking type pliers better

It does not open as wide as a normal locking pliers and it sticks at least when new. I kept it but so far I don't really like it.

Just a great value for some very solidly built, easy to use vice grips.

Poorly made

First set I purchased was returned due to inoperable adjusting screw on largest wrench. Purchased 2nd set which will be returned due to inoperable adjusting screw on both wrenches.

another useful tool

just purchased tools, plus 5 sets for gifts. hope they live up to there ads.

Self Adjusting and locking pliers

I purchased two sets of these magnum grip pliers and found one pair hard to open and I had to jiggle them a lot to get them to open up. When locking on an item, they do not get a tight enough grip and would come loose very often. They are OK for light duty work but I do not recommend them for any heavy use or where real gripping power is needed.

The adjustment screw was too difficult to turn. Had to use another pair of plyers to turn the adjustment screw. Otherwise, the product was as expected.

Very Disappointed

I bought these grip pliers to hold items being welded. Found them very difficult to used. They do not lock easily and the adjusting knob does nothing. Will be returning them on my next trip. Stick with Vise Grips.

expecting a smile Christmas am

husband saw these advertised on tv, so I looked online and was happy to see I could order them. I got them almost immediately and am sure he will be happy to have them, he had ideas already what he could do with them.

Saw the TV ad, Pliers not that good

I bought these based on the TV ad, tried them in the store, but the pair seemed broken. Opened the package, tried them on a few projects around the house, they are OK, not great. They are about 70% useful. I've used them on 4 things around the house. 1 they gripped too tight, 2 were just right, and a third I got my good old vice grips out. I've hammered on them, seem durable enough. They have a place in my tool pouch, no cutters, so I will carry my 20 year old vice grips, along Just can't have e...

Maybe it's the user...

Worked great playing with the store display but I haven't been able to get my head around how to make them work now that I have them home. Thought could use just like vice-grips (and should be) but I haven't had much success on things I know an old-fashioned vice-grip would work on. Still, early days... Nice & solid feel to the tool though.

Less Tools To Use With These

I saw this deal on TV and thought it was too good to be true - it wasn't! I ended up tossing out a bunch of tools I no longer need because I now have these.
