Works great!

Works great! We had to replace our old one that we had for 8yrs. Same brand and you may pay a little more but worth it. This one is also quieter than the one we had. One other thing we like is that the battery that came with it lasted longer than the 30 minutes it stated on the box.

It's easy to handle

I don't like dealing with the cutting line it would be better with blades

Manufacturing issue ?

Don’t know couldn’t even get the thing together because the screw holes don’t line up to screw the bars together. I’ve read reviews and most were fine so perhaps this is just a design flaw in some of these. I will attempt to exchange it but the next one is still like this I will keep it at a 1 star review.

There are some of these that can NOT be put togeth

I have to get three before I received one that would actually piece together properly.

Great trimmer

It it lightweight but cuts through pretty much everything. I have a half acre yard and I use 1 and a quarter 4.0ah batteries doing everything I need to do. The only thing I don’t like about it is the shield which doesn’t allow you to have very much string (cutting diameter). I may remove the shield and see if I like it better.

Love my tools!

Bought this Kobalt on sale! well worth the money. One of my best Lowe's purchases. It has the same amount of power as the 40v. The only difference is 15 more minutes on the battery usage. The thick double strings slice through grass like soft butter. Very strong, powerful, tool!

Light and surprisingly powerful.

I was on the fence about getting this or the larger version, but since I had 24v batteries for most of my tools already, I stuck with this. It works great, so far. I mean it isn't going to cut through trees or bushes, but for grass, even longer thicker weeds, it works great. I wouldn't hesitate getting it.

Never going back to liquid fuel

I liked that it works as good and I think better then my gas powered

Light weight, and easier to use than it has powered Sthil. Squeeze the handles and it's on! Simple and effective, just what I wanted.
