I like the way it runs and it does a wonderful job but the only thing is the battery doesn’t last long enough . It says it is a 4 hour battery but it only last about 2hrs. But All in all I look it and it’s worth the money for sure

Spool Retainer Wears Out, No parts support

Owned the 24v string trimmer for exactly 5 years now and love the power of the trimmer. The only exception is the plastic spool retaining cap has worn through and is disintegrating, and even the plastic bump advance is now wearing thin with holes developing. I’ve used Kobalt USA’s Contact Us site twice asking for help with no response. This tool will end up in the trash since they don’t provide common parts that are subject to wear.

trash from the start

Do not purchase this garbage. mine finally met the trash. The string set up is as useless as it gets. The power it puts out is just enough to knock grass over and takes much more effort to cut the grass. After enough issues mine is now where it belongs. Chopped up and in the trash bin. Worst product.

This trimmer will not feed the string properly. Everytime I try to use it I have to stop to fix it. I am VERY disappointed with this product. This was my first and last Kobalt purchase.

no replacement parts

This trimmer works well at first but restringing is tricky. If you don't get the head completely snapped in place, it will fly off. If you can't find a part that flies off, they are not available for purchase. I called Kobalt and they said to buy a universal head at Lowes. Better than expected.

After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to purchase but have had no issues with other Kobalt tools I have purchased. Well, I am glad i did. I love this. It assembled very quickly and easily. Waiting a few hours to get the battery charged and then starting using it. It was great, light weight, cut great etc. Would definitely recommend.

Lightweight trimmer with plenty of power

This 24-volt model is very light compared to gas or battery models with larger batteries, but is plenty powerful. Trimming is easy and for my yard (< 1/4 acre) there are no issues with battery life. I've tried edging with it with mixed success. Given its weight, it's a bit easier to edge than with other trimmer models, but it eats up the trimmer string like crazy. I wish Lowes (Kobalt) had a 24-volt edger like they do for the 40-volt line. The only other issue I had was in bumping to get mo...
