Powerful, Practical and Too Notch WeedWacker

Kobalt String Trimmer Kit 48v

This is great and does a fantastic job quote quickly. I am unsure how long a full charge of a battery pack lasts, but the good news is that there's two battery packs (including accessories for charging)! Also, BIG NEWS, there are more attachments available. This seemingly singular KOBALT tool can be transformed into several others due to its UNIVERSAL CONNECT (UC) compatibility. I am already excited about getting the UC pole saw with extender; several possibilities for usefulness.

Great trimmer for home owner

Packaged well and easy to unpack, assemble with clear instructions. Comes with more than what is minimally required which is a great plus. Weight is very light compared to most other trimmers and the power is on par with expectations, In thicker grass such as thick crab grass you do need to go slower than a gas powered however that is to be expected. Kobalt trimmer easy to use.

I received my battery powered string weed eater today. I used around my yard around all my flower beds and property line. It is awesome. I had never used a battery powered one before now I want go back to my gas one.

Absolutely 💯 percent impressed with this Kobalt electric weedeater. I have a Stihl one as comparison and this one I prefer as it is lighter and WHISPER QUIET! no need for hearing protection so you can hear things around you like vehicles, kids, or dogs. Powerful! But a strange battery charging system

WOW has this thing got the power. You can FEEL it, and the bump feed works quite well. My only complaint is the weird charging method for the batteries. You have to have BOTH batteries attached and while it LOOKS like you can charge them ON the trimmer, it seems that only 1 will charge that way. There are USB-C ports for charging on the batteries and a seperate charging dock...a bit confusing but I plan to get to the bottom of how to do it the right way

Strong Performance Held Back by bad Features

I wanted to like this Kobalt trimmer more than I do, but there are a couple of design choices that really hold it back. The biggest issue for me is the battery setup. It requires both batteries to run at the same time, but only comes with one charger. Works as advertised

This is my 1st battery operated weed wacker and I have found no problem. The tool was easy to put together out of the box. No issues with the batteries. Compared to a gas powered unit the electric one was comparable to but much quieter which i really appreciated. I recommend it.

Solid trimmer for regular yard work.

Before & after using the Kobalt 48V trimmer. My yard doesn’t have a ton of grass, but the areas that do were pretty overgrown. It handled it and got the job done. Not the most powerful I’ve used, but solid for regular yard work. Weed eater

Well cant have enough yard tools! I seem to eat weed trimmers. This one-is pretty tough and easy to put together. It can have other attachments, which is real convenient. Also can use the batteries across many platforms. Cool charger not bulky.

Lightweight and fast charging

I’m impressed with the way the trimmer works. Not very heavy while working with and pretty quiet. Has two power settings and uses both batteries to activate. I like how you can change speed but remember, when doing this it exhausts your batteries faster. Besides that I think and know that this is a solid weed eater that could get a hours use if done correctly.
