Easy to assemble, charge batteries first

Better than i expected. I have had to rethink my idea of electric trimmers.

Great Trimmer

Battery charges fast and there's more than enough power to handle the yard. My only issue is that I wanted to swap out the trimmer head for a fixed line head, but I can't find the right size nut to work - it's NOT a M10x1/25. This said the current head seems to work well and it cuts the grass I put in front of it.

My 15 yr old grandson uses it eadily.

Pleased with this tool

I have tried all the brands of string trimmers. I was excited to try this brand. I am 6' tall and the length for me is not too long, and I am able to maintain control. Our backyard is all retaining wall, so I use it vertically to make a nice straight cut line, which I like, a nice straight cut line and clean edge. Seriously versatile weed trimmer. No fuel needed.

This is a great little weed trimmer, the two 24 volt batteries provide plenty of power to trim up the yard with some juice to spare. This kit comes with two batteries and a dual battery charger. Surprisingly, the kit also came with a USB adapter so that you can charge a portable device using one of the 24 volt batteries if you are in a pinch. Plenty of power easy to handle

This is my first time using battery powered lawn equipment. My initial expectations weren’t high, I didn’t think battery powered could match the power of a combustion engine. I was completely wrong! The weedeater is the strongest, fastest I have ever worked with. The string feed on this is almost an edger. Impressive power and long battery life

I hesitated for a long time before switching from gas to battery-powered lawn tools, but this Kobalt 48V trimmer has completely won me over. I maintain a 1/3-acre lot, and this tool handles edging the sidewalks, clearing around the house, and trimming along fence lines with ease. The battery life is excellent; after finishing the entire yard, I still had two power bars remaining on the batteries. The charging setup is another standout feature. It cuts - for 30 minutes

The batteries die after 30 minutes, if that. Outside of that it works pretty well. Too bad we can't get the yard done in one go.

Kobalt out did themselves

I like that the weedeater takes two 24v batteries which I have plenty off. The 24v batteries are cheaper than buying the 40v battery.

2 speed

This is a great tool it has the same battery my drill and tile saw have . This weed eater is made for universal parts. Has a easy to use design and 2 speeds for tough weeds.

Great light String Trimmer with long lasting batte

I have used a competing brand for a while and was interested to use this Kobalt brand to compare. The unit is lighter than others and is very intuitive to operate. It cuts well and the guard is effective. I have around 1/2 acre that is fenced with a lot of mulched trees on the lot. I started with two fully charged batteries and set a stopwatch to see how long the batteries would last. Traveled down one fence line (126 ft), down the next (110), then began trimming around the tree bases (14 trees)...
