Would Not RecommendThis attachment worked fine, but to say it is a nightmare to clean is an understatement. The time I spent cleaning this attachment more than makes up for the time and energy I would have spent using my manual pasta roller. I read and followed the instructions exactly, but the dough goes everywhere. Every small nook and cranny and threaded section had dough stuck to them. The cleaning tool was helpful in getting it out from some places, but only in the sense that I didn't need to get a toothpick ...

Great product for homemade pasta
Would RecommendI loved the pasta press and cutter attachment so bought this to expand homemade pasta creativity. This works great, and I make pasta with some chickpea flour, and add spinach for green spinach pasta. I'll try others. But, you must get the pasta dough hydration correct. Not difficult but start with recipes and then use your judgment and feel of the dough. I use some semolina for strength, and usually eggs, but there are so many recipes for low/no gluten. Pass on eggs if you wish. With these produ...

Not worth the price
Would Not RecommendI bought this about 6 weeks ago, after really loving the three piece roller set. First off, only after 2 uses the white is peeling off on the inside so I probably will have to discontinue use in fear of plastic getting into pasta. Second, it wastes so much dough. I can make a whole serving for my toddler with the amount that is left in the dies and around the corkscrew piece. The pieces don’t come out uniformly and when cutting they all clump together no matter how fast you swipe it. I have...

Horrible Customer Service
Would Not RecommendI purchased this for someone who is gluten free, however the machine isn't particularly good at processing anything other than standard flour or semolina pasta doughs. I attempted to return this and was met with hours upon hours of customer service wait times, dropped calls, and endless chats. If it works out for you, great! It does do a good job with flour doughs, but if it doesn't you are in for a whirlwind of inconvenience trying to return it through this company.

Beautifully easy. Much better than roller ones.
Would RecommendI bought this 2 months ago in an effort to ease the work involved in making homemade pasta. Before this wonderful gadget I used the roller style pasta attachments that also go with my KitchenAid 6 quart mixer. I’ve been the proud owner of KitchenAid Mixers for more than 40 years. They are the only mixers I will own. The ease of this Gourmet Pasta Attachment is stunning. I use real semolina flour recipes and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Of course I will keep my roller attachments as I ...

Easy Peasy
Would RecommendMade Bucatini using my pasta maker for KitchenAid stand mixer. Used another recipe since the recipe that is included is too much for 2 adults. Cooked bucatini about 10 minutes and still doughy. Tasted great. Needs more salt in water I am thinking.

It's Alright....
Would Not RecommendI recently got a kitchenaid and 2 attachments. The gourmet pasta press, and 3 piece pasta roller/cutter set. I definitely prefer the cutter set more. The pasta press DOES work and makes pasta, not great, but it works. It takes a long time, about 2 hours for 1 batch of dough (recipe in the manual). It also always wastes a bit of dough since it never fully gets everything out. The plastic ring that holds the plate on always get stuck super tight and I have to put rubber gloves on to get enough gri...

Sometimes MORE is better!
Would RecommendThe mailman delivered it an hour ago and we are ready for lunch! I knew it was coming today so I had everything ready to go! Made a nice little bolognaise sauce and the water is boiling now! I followed the recipe given and it worked perfectly! I have two stand mixers and I have a feeling the attachment is going to be a permanent fixture on it now! Besides my actual mixer this has to be by far my favorite gadget EVER!!!

Show-stopping appliance!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this pasta press as an attachment to my kitchen aid. My children eat pasta all the time and I thought this would be a fun and easy way to incorporate fresh pasta into our lives. The quality is outstanding! Its so well build! It is very easy to use and my family really enjoys using it together. I would highly recommend this for anyone.

Love It!
Would RecommendI own every pasta attachment they make and this is my new favorite! I bought it because rigatoni is my husbands favorite pasta and this makes it wonderfully. Easy to use and much easier to clean than the other extruder. If you already love making pasta or want to start this is a great attachment. Once you make it you'll never buy dry store pasta again.

Fun noodle maker
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I’m very happy with the product. Cleaning is a bit challenging otherwise not impossible. Most flour the recipes were quite well. Trying to make a pesto noodle is challenging. Otherwise I am quite satisfied with the product given the Pandemic circumstances I am making my own pasta!

Great Set
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time I used this I had an awful mess because I used a recipe off the internet and it was to wet. I then made the dough in the enclosed book and it worked perfect :) I watched all available video's from KitchenAid and it turned out wonderful :)

Love the ease of use
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Manual is spot-on in instructions. Pasta extruder works as expected. Easy to clean. Pasta tastes so much better than boxed pasta. Should have bought it years ago.

Mediocre Results with1st Time Attempt
Would Not RecommendWas very excited to use this Christmas gift from my children. Used the pasta dough recipe that came with the set. The dough was super thick, and the fusilli resulted in 1 nice looking spiral, the others exited the press too straight. It was a disappointment considering I grew up on Kitchen aid. I will try again once we finish this unattractive batch with a lighter dough recipe. Considering the investment - the product should work as advertised the first time.. I cannot recommend at this tim...

Nice to make my own pasta
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's hard to find much variety in gluten free pasta. I was able to make delicious pasta. But the pusher/combo tool was missing, so I had to wait for that to arrive. My first batch was a disaster and I threw the dough away. I learned that the dough was too wet. It needs to be very dry or it will jam in the pasta press. Even with dry dough, the spaghetti holes got plugged, so periodically I had to stop it and poke the holes from the bottom ...

Simply Divine!!!_
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used first day it arrived!!! Already had dough made up and chilled! So much fun and as long as dough is right consistency , was easy!! Hardest part was waiting on dough in disk to dry and clean!! Worth the investment!!
