Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved the kitchen aid gourmet pasta press and couldn't be more exicted and happy with it! So far I've made the large macaroni and it turned out perfect! I can't wait to make even more homemade pasta! Kitchen aid Is a great and premium brand definitely worth the price. I am also impressed the pasta press is made in ITALY! I can't wait to try even more kitchenaid attachments.

Love this pasta press

I love it can do multiple kinds from elbow to spaghetti. Easy clean up as well. I will enjoy trying all the pasta shapes.

I wasn't sure if I would want to take the time to make my own pasta and I wasn't confident it would taste good, but here I am writing a pasta fabulous review! I couldnt believe how easy it was to attach to my Kitchenaid stand mixer. I found the pasta recipes excellent and I am convinced I will never buy store pasta again! Fresh Pasta is the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I love this attachment! It's compact, easy to store, simple to setup and easy to use. Who doesn't love fresh pasta? And this one makes it easy. I would suggest experimenting with your doughs, but dough balls work the best. It makes 6 types of pasta shapes and the wire cutter cuts smooth through them. My favorite is the fussilli and the plus is I can make it my own length! The clean up may be a little cumbersome and you may feel like...

Pasta press

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Gourmet Pasta Press So I make fresh pasta about once a week, this item is great to make some noodles you might not normally make by hand. After doing extensive research for the best rigatoni doughs, I decided to use the recipe in the operator’s manual and it was perfect!!!! I’m anxious to try a new shape each time I use it. Homemade yammy things highly recommend brand kitchen needs.

Will never purchase dry pasta again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew making fresh pasta was this easy. I read about it and finally decided to get the Kitchenaid Gourmet Pasta Press. Out of the box, the device is very solid, comes with 6 different pasta discs, a dough pusher and a cleaning tool. I can now easily make homemade spaghetti and macaroni. I thought it would be complicated but all I needed was flour, eggs, salt and olive oil. The pasta press comes with a detailed instruction booklet...

Pasta Press

I finally got this after 2 years of wanting it. I love it once I found a recipe that worked with it.. My 2 only complaints are 1) the disc are a pain to clean and 2) the fusilli noodles don't spiral. Other then that was great..

Disappointing

I'm fairly experienced with making pasta from scratch. This is one of the worst kitchen tools I've ever used. I've tried 3 different pasta dough recipes, including the one provided with the machine and none have extruded from the machine properly. The parts feel flimsy after 3 uses and do not seem built to last. Will return.

Love this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time using is was very easy, let pasta dry for easy cleanup. Can’t wait to use it again, just make sure you follow directions and it will come out perfect.

Not durable

I bought this attachment in February 2019 It recently started making a clicking noise halfway through process of making pasta, and stopped extruding the dough. Did the same thing the next time I tried to make pasta . The pasta cutter wire has become untaught and they no longer make the replacement part don’t understand that since the still sell attachment.

Pasta ring broke at first use

I received this as a present during the holidays. I have only managed to use it one time, as the ring broke in two. Perhaps the ring should be made of stronger material to avoid this issue.

Fun and easy to use

I read many reviews before purchasing the pasta press, some of which left me unsure as to whether buying it was a good idea. However, I took the plunge and am happy to report that after using it, I'm very pleased with my purchase. The press works well and it's fun and satisfying to see the pasta dough come through the dies in all the different shapes. I had a bit of an "I Love Lucy" moment when I couldn't keep up with cutting the pasta fast enough, but I got better the longer I used it. I also...

Not reliable. Pasta ring broke in two under use

First two uses, worked fine. Made some nice rigatoni. Third time, the pasta ring cracked in two. KitchenAid doesn’t appear to sell it as a separate part, either, which is extra annoying.

Must need device

I bought this a few days ago and it is amazing. It is easy to use and so many attachments. I don’t think I’ll ever buy store bought pasta again

First time Pasta Maker

But our pasta maker we were thrilled. I love the consistency and the ease of use. We use the KitchenAid to mix up the dough (used Semolina flour), rolled the dough the size of a walnut, and the pasta easily passed through. It was a little sticky, so we need to practice. Look online to try to find a recipe which took some time. The attachments did not come with a recipe book been very helpful if KitchenAid would provide an Italian recipe book for cooking pasta. Great attachment but you need to get the dough rig

I’ve bought this a year ago and have made many batches of wonderful pasta (and a few of not great pasta)! If you are having trouble at all, I would bet that your dough is too wet. Use the recipe that comes with the attachment and then don’t be afraid to add a bit of flour as you roll the dough I to balls as you add them to the attachment.

Very happy with this purchase. Was to arrive on Monday to my surprise was delivered Friday 4days after placing the order Saturday was pasta making day. Very easy to make all 6 of the pastas I have all the pasta attachments now. And several of the other attachments. Their all easy to use and make meal prep a breeze

Unfortunately, during my second time using the gourmet pasta press the top of the attachment popped out!
