Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son wanted to try making homemade pasta, so we went out and bought this. We were between this and the other pasta attachment (the one that makes sheets), and decided on this. WOW! So easy to make quality pasta, and with all the different dies(6) it's never the same twice! It only takes about an hour, and you get almost 2 lbs. of fresh pasta. Really enjoy using it, and both of my sons (in their early 20s, still at home) help, so I get ra...

Disappointed
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The recipe in the book for the pasta extruder I purchased didn’t work. The recipe on line was different. I’ll try using my machine again and hope for better results.

Quicker than Horizontal Model
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously used the horizontally-oriented pasta extruder. It took hours as I had to cut each noodle individually so that it wouldn't adhere to the noodle below it. With this vertically-oriented pasta press with included blade, it takes just minutes. When the noodle is the proper length, just flick the cutting blade across all of the noodles so that they independently fall away from each other. It's a simple change to the design that made it s...

Great packaging!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't used it yet, but I can't wait to. I just wish it was easier to use the online resources it notes in the books - I haven't been able to actually locate recipes to use on here, which is frustrating since the manual notes there should be tips on here.

takes some getting used to
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband got this for me for Christmas and we have used it twice to make pasta- the first time I put mixer on 10 speed and after a few minutes the attachment started spinning around and well, lets just say disaster. However, tightened the adjustment, turned down the speed (thanks to husband's google search) and proceeded along just fine. It takes about an hour to press out three cups of dough for those wondering, does a nice job, but a litt...

Love this one
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this one as a Christmas gift two years ago and have enjoyed making pasta. My granddaughter who is taking culinary classes at her high school was visiting and insisted on making pasta with each one. We love pasta in our house. The ease of how to use this one is great. You need to make sure the dough has the proper consistency, make it into a ball and walla you have pasta. This one is also easy to clean

Easy to usr
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So glad I got this. It's more work than just opening a box of pasta but the time spent with my kids making pasta is priceless.

Doesn’t fit our kitchen aid mixer!
Would Not RecommendGot the pasta attachment for Christmas. Used it 3 times and brought it back. All 3 times, the attachment was properly installed with knob tighten to hold it in position but the attachment would pop out and turn around and around spilling pasta all over the place and also hitting me in the face as I was putting pasta in the hopper! It broke a piece off of my kitchen aid mixer which I am not happy about! For this reason, I do not recommend this attachment!

Awesome Pasta Press
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received our pasta press for Christmas and have made three batches of pasta so far. The taste is wonderful! The kids have enjoyed helping make these dinners. We used another recipe and not the one in the booklet and have had great success with AP flour and Gluten-Free 1:1 Flour.

KitchenAid takesthe fear out of making fresh pasta
I just made my first fresh pasta. The pictures show the results, but don’t explain how EASY this attachment was to use. Drop in walnut sized dough balls and out comes perfect fusilli. It made so much from 2 c of flour that I almost ran out of room. Excellent purchase. Tak

Homemade rigatoni and fusilli ... what, what?!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased and LOVED the pasta roller that makes sheets and basic long pastas. My daughter's favorite however is rigatoni, so we decided to take the plunge and get this attachment as well. Fun! Very happy with our purchase. Even works with gluten free dough. Make sure your dough isn't too wet or it will stick inside the chute, but otherwise this is an A+ in our book.

WORKS GREAT!!
Would RecommendI just bought this and could hardly sleep last night because I couldn't wait to use the Gourmet Pasta Press. I love cooking and this was very easy to use and a lot of fun. It always makes me feel good to make something from scratch. Just a little trouble cleaning the plates that the pasta goes through. I used the brush picks that you use between your teeth and it worked GREAT!!
