Nice upgrade

Having a kitchen full of stainless appliances we really liked the brushed appearance of this toaster. Honestly we were concerned about how hot the exterior metal would get, but we've been very pleased. It's perfectly safe to handle and touch the exterior after it has been used. Get what you pay for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a brand new toaster that did not work. Bought a "cheap" toaster because it only has to heat up and toast bread. It did neither! Broken upon arrival. Replaced it with this toaster and I couldn't be happier. Kitchen Aid fridge, oven, dishwasher, cook top, and now a toaster. Quality in every appliance and worth the cost.

Always burns my toast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first one I bought quit working after a month. They were happy to replace it and customer service was excellent. But the new one I got as a replacement burns my bread even on the 1 setting. It is really disappointing for such an expensive toaster. Maybe kitchenaid should stay with stand mixers. I really want to return it again but am not sure I can. It’s pretty and fancy looking but not a good toaster.

Toast shade varies from one side to the other

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this item about a month ago and have one comment concerning it. The toast tends to brown more on one side than he other. Anything I can do without sending the toaster back to company?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the last twenty years I have purchased all large and small KitchenAid appliances, gas range, dishwasher, microwave, mixers, toasters, etc. for both our Michigan and Florida homes. KitchenAid is a brand you can count on and I always recommend it to family and friends when asked for suggestions.

I Would Never Recommend This Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toast pops up, but not all the way. I have to use the handle on my own to get it out. I’m very unsatisfied with this product.

Poor internal parts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model (as well as all the other models I have received, has poor internal function. When pushing down on lever to start toasting function, the spring mechanism pushes back up. I must push down on lever multiple times to initiate toasting function of my bread. I have experienced this problem with all models sent to me. In addition, my bread is often toasted on one side but not the other.

Works well

I have had this toaster for about 2 weeks and the quality is way better than any of the others I have had in a very long time. At this point I would say well worth the money.

Great toaster

Never worked right
