Glass breaks ridiculously easy

I've had my stand mixer for a few years and I'm now in search of my 3rd replacement glass bowl! The first time it broke I was making cookies and tapped a utensil on the side of it - not too hard- and I didn't expect it to crack and break like it did. Sad but love it

I recently broke the bowl to this mixer. I have made many cakes and cookies using this but I have found it practically impossible to find a replacement bowl. How can Kitchenaid make such an amazing product yet not sell the replacement or keep it in stock.

I got this for my my birthday last year. Love this product but was washing it and broke and cannot find replacement very upset as it is very expensive machine!

Love my 6 at stand mixer BUT

I have had my 600 professional lift stand mixer since I got it last year for Christmas. Today, after mixing the dough for bread, I washed the bowl. As I dried the bowl, I noticed a chip and small crack in the bowl. Then I tried to find a replacement....out of stock...can't be found... seems like this is a common concern from all of the reviews... I love my mixer but I ought to be able to find a replacement glass bowl! Some things just can't be mixed in a stainless steel bowel!

Chipped and Cracked Glass Bowl

I really need a replacement bowl, but none are available !!! I've only used it twice, and a piece chipped off without any abuse or damaging incident HELP !!! My mother had a glass bowl with her mixer, and 20 years later not a single blemish! Is there a manufacturing flaw ?

Shouldn't be so hard to replace

I am having the same problem as everyone else it seems. I used my brand new kitchen aid 1 time, and then my mother broke the glass bowl and I have not been able to replace it. I don't even need it to be a glass bowl, considering how hard it seems to be to find them and how easily they are broken, but it's hard to know whether any of the metal bowls will fit this model, and I don't want to waste the money on something that won't work. Glass bowl broke

My mom really wanted me to learn how to bake. She practically forced me to learn on her kitchen aid. I've been baking every since, that is until my glass bowl broke and a replacement cannot be found. I am so disappointed and heart broken since this mixer has sentimental value because the purchase was inspired my mom who passed away this time last year. How can you make anything glass and not carry a replacement. I'm disappointed kitchen aid.

Glass bowl cracked no replacement

Got the 6qt mixer with glass bowl this last holiday, and now the glass bowl cracked; no replacement to be found avaialble. Will there ever be a replacement?????.

Broken glass bowl 6qt

My 6qt glass bowl broke when I was putting it back on. I can’t find a replacement and you (the manufacturer) is out of stock. Very poor quality!

Great mixer bad replacement parts...

I got my mixer as a wedding gift and when we finally got settled in, I we discovered a crack in the bowl. Not bing able to replace it is a real bummer. I’m a HUGE baker and I fear I’m going to have to switch back to my old mixer now. No replacement seems very unnerving.

Don't buy without researching first

I bought this 6 quart lift stand mixer. I was so excited to finally have my own kitchenaid, I fondly remember my grandmother using hers. I was getting a bottle of cinnamon out of my cupboard and dropped it and it hit the side of my glass bowl and shattered a corner off. Now it's practically impossible to get a replacement. I wish I would of known this before I purchased this. So disappointing.

No replacement bowl

We got this mixer as a wedding gift 3 years ago and have loved it! We've used it for probably a thousand cookies and many other baked goodies. The only bummer has been that recently the side of the glass bowl chipped off about an inch or so and put a large crack down the side. I can't find a replacement bowl anywhere. Seems like everyone else is having the same problem. It's been great, and we've loved it, but now it is just sitting there while I mix cookies by hand.

Use to love it.

I’ve had my glass bowl for about a year. I use it all the time. I was washing it and it slipped barely hit my sink and now has a big crack down the side. This sucks because I loved this bowl so much more then my stainless. You would think for something that heavy it wouldn’t break so easily.

Unbelievable price.

Bought my pro 2 months back, mother was washing and it fell and shattered. Now im left with a expensive mixer thats useless. Wouldve gave it 5 stars if it was more durqble but now i cant get qny use outbofbmy very expensive mixer.

Wish I had known

I bought this mixer for my daughter as a household gift. She loves it but the bowl has broken and we cannot find a replacement! Such a disappointment!! Wish I had read all the reviews before I invested in a product that is useless now. Come on kitchenAid you are better than this.

Disappointing product

I have had this mixer 3 years and have struggled with it since the first use. Extremely loud motor, though strong. Does not mix well and always leaves ingredients unmixed in the bottom that has to be hand-stirred in. The rubber seal around the bowl started flaking off the bowl right away and now the bowl has cracked. Disappointing product from a trusted brand.

Devastated!

My KitchenAid is my most favorite tool in my kitchen. I run a cake business out of our home and this is my fourth KitchenAid mixer, my dream mixer, a 6 QT silver beauty with a glass bowl! My husband bought if for me for Christmas this past December. I keep it on the counter, safe under the upper cabinets. Glass bowl cracked

The bowl cracked within a year (with a slight tap on the side when washing it) and I have not found the replacement and then there’s the cost - wish I had gotten the metal bowl.

A Blessing and Curse

I received this as a gift on Christmas 2017. It was an upgrade from my previous versions (which I still use). I use it to bake all the time, IT IS AMAZING!!!! My daughter was washing it and it slipped out of her hand and cracked the bowl. The curse has been trying to find a replacement bowl just like it. How can I even use this expensive mixer with no bowl? My family has always lived for kitchenaid, but this replacement issue truly has us upset.

Great Mixer

We bought the mixer 6 years ago and the only problem we have had is replacing the glass bowl, it breaks and they are impossible to find. The mixer is great the bowl is terrible.
