It is nice to have the upgrade in power and efficiency, the addition of a revolving plate, and the sleek look of stainless steel rather than the old, dingy white. I have found that I need to be more aware of the protruding handle as I work below on the range. The irony is that we picked our appliance package based in part on the knurled handle with the red anodized end caps. ...

Fun noises

Except for the range, (which was off by 15 degrees, 450 was really 435) all the appliances were fantastic. I liked them so much I purchased exactly the same appliances when we moved to Maryland. I miss my old KitchenAid microwave!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for a unit I bought in 2008 that needed a new touchpad which was no longer available. I was very pleased with the old machine so another KitchenAid seemed the way to go. Not thrilled though. Less powerful (1000 Watts, down from 2000 before). Not as attractive (stainless finish only on the front, otherwise glossy black, and generally not very attractive, in my opinion anyway). Balky, frustrating touchpad. I could go on.
