Terrible quality

This is horrible, unbelievable, the inside of the microwave is frozen??!! I had an old model of this but when it suddenly broke and the repair cost was half the price of a new one, I decided to buy another one. I had never experienced this before. The new model is very poor quality. The inside of the microwave is frozen in the winter!!. Besides, when we plugged in the new microwave, several parts were broken and the dealer repaired it!!

Quiet operation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this microwave so everything matched. It is the quietest microwave we ever owned. Nice features and does no protrude out from the cabinets. Heats water up fast. Had to replace the surface light bulb which is an incandescent bulb. Exhaust fan is also whisper quiet and sometimes using low speed you cannot hear it and may leave it on. Has a quality feel to it. Worth the extra money.

Compliments other appliances

Good Microwave but Missing One Desired Feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works much better and is quieter than the microwave it replaced. Appreciate it having multiple exhaust fan speeds. One feature my old microwave had that this one appears not to have is the one touch time setting (Express Cook). Example: Pressing only the "1" button starts the microwave and runs it for one minute without having to press the COOK TIME or START buttons. Two minutes for the "2" button. All the way to 6 minutes for the "6" but...

It's a microwave, and that's all it is

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced exact same make/model. This one is LOUD! Makes a lot of noise when energized. LED clock can light up our kitchen at night. Had to disable it. Otherwise, it's just a microwave. It's also been discontinued. There is one positive. On this unit the fan actually works on all 4 speeds. Out previous unit showed the 4 speeds but always stayed on one speed. Still giving it only 3 stars.

Near identical replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this microwave because it is a near-exact match to the Kitchenaid microwave installed in our new house 10 years ago. I wish the first unit had lasted longer, but this replacement is the same size, close to the same appearance, installed in the same space easily, and the touchpad is identical.

Bulky but efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace an older KitchenAid microwave/hood combo. I wanted the smaller streamlined one but my spouse wanted this larger one. The smaller one would have been a much better pick as this one is so large it makes it difficult to see the panel at the back our new range. I do like that it's quieter than our previous model.

Classic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This classic model is reliable and works great. Had similar model before. Returned a newer model that still had problems. Couldn’t hear timer or that my meal was ready. Manually had to reset after each use. Nice flush to cabinets but too many issues.
