The is no really useful documentation regarding the functions of the control panel (not even an online tutorial).. you'll have to use your best guess as to how each one works. Also there is no obvious way to enter a quick 1,2,3,4.. minute time wit automatic start. You literally have to enter "100", "200", "300", etc. and then press start to get it to heat for that numb...

Awesome microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love it. It does everything a microwave should..and more. The steaming and serving size sense is amazing. Looks great and compliments the KitchenAid range. Surface and interior lights could be a little brighter, but you can easily change those for LED. Get dimmable compatible bulbs. This was well worth it for the look and features it offers. Very happy with the purchase

Annoying completion sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Microwave works well, but the light over stove is too dim. Previous Kitchenaid microwave had a much better light. The completion sound is annoying.

Quality Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about a momth ago and have found it to be a quality product. Only have one complaint, the interior light could be briter. Because of the darker interior it coud use a briter white light. The unit has a solid feal not tinney like some. You notice the differance when you open and close the door.

Wonderful features

Good Microwave, Poor Lighting

Appreciate how quiet it runs and the reminder sounds. The only negative to this microwave are the lights - both inside and out. The under-light is so weak you'd have to call it only a nightlight. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the microwave, but there a a few features that I would like that they were different. I would like to be able to choose a specific defrost time as opposed to having 4 choices that don’t necessarily apply to what I want to defrost. Same idea for reheating.

Can't get simple functions right.

I hate that this microwave does not have a single chime. Your only options are no chime, or a 5 second long rhythm. The stove top light has never worked correctly. Sometime it works, most times it doesn't. And when it does work there is only low, medium and high brightness, no off! The bright red medallions on the ends of the handle are extremely ugly as well.

Sleek, quiet and easy to use

I really like the soften/melt butter function and I really like having several fan speeds. I do miss a quick on but really pushing a few more buttons isn't a big deal. The microwave is too new to give 5 stars as I have no idea whether it will have problems say within a year etc.
