Good, not great

Beautiful appliance

Best Microwave Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally my microwave arrived for our new home. Love how It works, 100% better than any microwave I’ve owned. It warms food perfectly, no over cooked tough edges. The defrost is perfect! I steamed big sweet potatoes in 5 mins! Ima home chef and very particular this is a great tool for my kitchen. Very happy with this product.

Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I love this microwave, however it is beyond frustrating that it does not come with detailed instructions and I could not find a link online. After an extensive chat I was able to have it emailed to me. I prefer printed instructions and I think that should be provided. These appliances are expensive.

Great Features!

Door problem, light bulb burned twice & more

1) Nice design BUT the door sucks! Every 10 times I put something in the microwave & closed the door, it appears “Open/close door” (see photo). I had to slam the door to make the microwave start! It happens 6 out of 10 times & sometimes had to open & then close more than 2 times for it to work. It wastes time & is really frustrating when in hurry. At night time, when my kids were upstairs ready to sleep, they could hear me slamming the door trying to make it start! Called service the 1st few wee...

Worth the long wait!

The long Wait Almost deducted one star! Only downside was the 16 1/2 month wait from order to install. I went in for a refund, only to hear it was finally shipping the next week!! Absolutely loved the 2000 version of the Superba convention microwave. Sadly it developed broil button issues after 20 years of use, and parts weren’t available. The predecessor had 3 different cook modes convection bake, Superba (Crisp on the new one) and microwave. So I knew the great features of the microwa...

Our microwave oven is a good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After waiting about three months for delivery due to supply chain issues, our builder installed our new microwave oven and we are quite pleased with it. We are still learning its capabilities -- have yet to use the convection feature.

Amazing microwave

I have used the convection oven a couple times so far and the results are so good. Love the look of Kitchenaid. I also got the wall oven which is installed below. Very pleased.

Defective - Multiple Problems with New Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After being installed the unit would not operate without pushing on the door. The door is misaligned and there is a noticeable "pimple" in the stainless steel on the door which appears to have been caused from the inside of the door. Very poor build quality and Q/C.

Beautiful Design!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I recently moved into a new home, which needed a serious kitchen upgrade. We purchased all new KitchenAid appliances and love the microwave. The drop-down door is sleek and looks just like an oven. It certainly is the best microwave we’ve ever had!

Doesn’t sit flat

I saw several people mentioning that the door won’t stay closed. Mine had same problem until I shimmed the right front edge. Looks like the face frame is proud of the base and not square, so when the unit sits on a flat surface, the door frame twists and the door won’t stay closed

User manual

Where is the user manual?!?!? How are we to know how to effectively operate without a user manual?

Great microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for a kitchen remodel. So far we love it but wish there was an instruction manual included. The Kitchenaid website is not very helpful. Would love help just doing simple things like using the convection feature.

There was no user manual with my unit. I need this information to know how to operate effectively.

Microwave Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this about 4 months now. I notice that it does not pop the bagged popcorn very well. Takes forever and leaves many unpoped kernels. I wish that the instruction manual had better directions for how to use the convection oven. No instructions on what can be left in the microwave when oven is on- do you take everything out?? Wish there were better instructions on this- and if there are- please let me know. Seems to work ok. BE VERY AWAR...
