Poor design with safety concerns

Popcorn does not cook work well.

This one though, and it may be minor, does not make popcorn well at all. Tried t he popcorn setting and it only popped half the bag. Then tried the 100% power, which would take exactly two minutes. Very good but not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a couple of weeks, the new microwave/oven combo seems to be performing adequatly. Although the unit uses a 220v connection, the microwave portion seems a bit weaker than the one we replaced. The oven portion works very well. One thing that makes this unit difficult for my wife is that the oven style door makes it difficult to reach into the back of the unit. Never again

This was supposedly compatible with a Kitchen Aid Micro / Convection Oven from several years ago. It's not. Installation is requiring an electrician to add a 220 v connection. The store from which we purchased this failed to do their due diligence to insure compatibility. They lacked the basic knowledge to compare the spec sheets from our previous KitchenAid to the new one. ...

Best Microwave Oven!

It's very convenient for my family, the use of microwave oven is useful and can barely cook everything within a few minutes. Perfect fir for my Chef's kitchen. Everyone that visits my house are asking me details about it and would love to have one It is well worth the price.

Had to replace the handle on the new one with the old one so that it would match our other appliances. Hopefully this one will work and not require as many repairs as the first one.

TERRIBLE- DOESN'T WORK AFTER DELIVERY!! READ THIS!

6/26/27- It was delivered and when plugged it didn't turn on... was told we could not get a new one and had to have service come and look at it. They use certain repair companies and they can't get out for over a week.

Great Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave is a definite upgrade from the standard built-in it replaced. The reheat feature does an exceptional job in adding heat while minimizing changing the texture of the food. It looks great, as well!

Bad Design

This built in microwave is the worst ever microwave for me. It came with my newly built home by Shea Homes in Chula Vista, CA. It is not user friendly and even worse that it is not the side opening door, so the door is all in your way from reaching things in the microwave, too bad I can't even get my kids to use this microwave unlike the one in my previous home. This does not heat up well, at 100%, it will take about 3.30minutes to fully pop a popcorn bag that says 1.45minutes. Another frustr...

microwave power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My use is to primarily to select the Start add 1 minute button. it takes twice as long generally to heat things. if direction state 2.5 minutes it will need 5 minutes in this oven. its 220A service.

Great Features, Top Quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Waited over a year to replace old KitchenAid microwave that went bad. This is beautiful and has all the features you could ask for. My only issue was that the size didn't fit my original microwave (also KitchenAid) but the appliance company was able to make it work and you would never know.

My experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 5th microwave I've owned over my lifetime. This is by far the weakest unit I've experienced. Basic stuff, like popping popcorn, it doesn't do well. What used to take 3 minutes, now takes 10! Heating food works, but just takes more time than usual. Techs just don't know what to do, and company does not support them. So, I would recommend using another brand.

KMBP100EBS Microwave / Convection Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great addition to our kitchen. Works well, so far, with no issues. I would have rated it as 5 stars, but the low wattage light makes it hard to see the food being cooked when the door is closed. The convection oven and microwave "Crisper" functions work well, but I would like to have a broiler element only option, like I have on my full-size oven.

Not happy!
